因是將成瘖啞、以迄事成之日。』

我必使你的舌頭貼住上膛，以致你啞口，不能做責備他們、的人；他們原是叛逆之家呀。

好讓我們這些逃難的人、藉這兩件不可更改的事、就是上帝所不能撒謊的、得強有力的鼓勵，去抓住那擺在我們前頭的指望。

凡我所愛的、我就指責管教；所以你要發熱心，要悔改。

正在那日、你就會向逃脫的人開口說話，不再啞巴。你要這樣給他們做個兆頭；他們就知道我乃是永恆主。』

他們就向他父親打手勢，問他願意叫他甚麼名字。他要了一塊寫字的小板，就寫上說：『他的名字是約翰。』大家都希奇。

有一個職司手扶攙王、的軍官回答神人說：『除非永恆主在天上開了罅隙，哪裏有這事呢？』以利沙說：『你就看吧，你必親眼看見，卻喫不着。』

耶穌回答他們說：『噯，沒有信心的世代啊，我跟你們在一起要到幾時呢？我容忍你們要到幾時呢？帶他來找我吧。』

我們若不信他，他仍舊是可信的；因為他不能否認自己。』

那軍官回答神人說：『除非永恆主在天上開了罅隙，哪會有呢？』神人說：『你就看吧，你必親眼看見，卻喫不着。』

這相信的女子是有福的；因為由主對她所說的事都必得到完成。』

而有永生之盼望的。這永生是不撒謊的上帝在歷時歷世以前所應許、

到他出來、不能和他們說話了、他們才理會他在殿堂裏見了顯象；他呢、也直向他們作手勢，始終還是啞巴！

那位說：『在婦人懷孕滿期的時候，我一定要回到你這裏來。看吧，你妻子撒拉必生個兒子。』撒拉在後邊帳棚聽着呢。當時亞伯拉罕和撒拉已經老邁，上了年紀；撒拉的女人事兒也停止了。撒拉肚子裏暗笑着說：『我已經衰敗，我的丈夫也老邁，哪裏還能有婚媾的樂趣呢？』永恆主對亞伯拉罕說：『撒拉為甚麼暗笑着說：「我既已老邁，果真能生養嗎？」在永恆主、還有奇難事麼？到了所定的日期，在婦人懷孕滿期的時候，我必回到你這裏來，撒拉必生個兒子。』這時撒拉害怕了；就否認說：『我沒有笑。』那位說：『不，你真地笑了。』

永恆主對他說：『誰使人有口呢？誰使人口啞、耳聾、眼明、眼瞎呢？豈不是我永恆主麼？

後來、十一個人坐席的時候、耶穌向他們顯現，斥責他們的不信和硬心，因為他們不信那些在他活起來以後見了他的人。

以法蓮的首都是撒瑪利亞，撒瑪利亞的首領是利瑪利的兒子；六年五年之內以法蓮一定破敗、不能成為一族之民：你們若不信靠，一定不能牢靠。」』

永恆主對摩西、亞倫說：『因為你們不信我，不在以色列人眼前尊我為聖，故此你們必不得領這大眾進我所賜給他們的地。』

就使有取了不信態度的，能怎麼樣呢？難道他們之不信能廢掉上帝之可信靠麼？
