But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.

But the angel said to him:“ Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John.

But the angel said,“ Don’t be afraid, Zechariah! God has heard your prayer. Your wife, Elizabeth, will give you a son, and you are to name him John.

But the angel said to him,“ Don’t be afraid, Zacharias, because your request has been heard, and your wife, Elizabeth, will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.

And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.

And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou[ art] barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son.Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean[ thing]:For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.

Lo, children[ are] an heritage of the LORD:[ and] the fruit of the womb[ is his] reward.As arrows[ are] in the hand of a mighty man; so[ are] children of the youth.Happy[ is] the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

He maketh the barren woman to keep house,[ and to be] a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace[ be] unto you.But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them[ his] hands and[ his] feet.

I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.

And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord,[ thou] man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid.And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life.

And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz.

Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.

And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant,[ and] with his seed after him.

And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

This[ is] my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel,[ saying], Because I have asked him of the LORD.And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband,[ I will not go up] until the child be weaned, and[ then] I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever.And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.

And the LORD said unto him, Peace[ be] unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die.

Then said[ God], Call his name Loammi: for ye[ are] not my people, and I will not be your[ God].Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass,[ that] in the place where it was said unto them, Ye[ are] not my people,[ there] it shall be said unto them,[ Ye are] the sons of the living God.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And[ God] said unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away.

And the LORD said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little[ while], and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.

And his mother answered and said, Not[ so]; but he shall be called John.And they said unto her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name.And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called.And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all.

And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she[ was] barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
