His sons brought the blood to him, and he dipped his finger into the blood and put it on the horns of the altar; the rest of the blood he poured out at the base of the altar.

以牛羊血、不能滌除人罪、故基督臨世、曰、主不欲以牲牷祭祀、乃使我成人身以祀之、燔祭贖罪爾不喜、典籍載我、我自降臨、遵上帝旨、上既言牲牷祭祀爾不欲、燔祭贖罪爾不喜、此皆遵律法而獻者、後則言吾自臨、遵上帝旨、以是而觀、上帝於其先者除之、於其後者立之、明矣、耶穌基督遵斯旨、一獻其身、則我之罪贖、凡祭司日立服事、屢獻其祭、而不能免人罪、惟基督、既一獻祭、以贖人罪、則恆坐上帝右、待置諸敵於其足下、基督第獻一祭、蒙潔之人、永得贖罪、聖神為證、主曰、當日之後、吾必與立約、吾將以律法、置其衷、銘其心、

至我祭壇前代為贖罪、取犢血羊血、釁壇四周、

祭司必指染其血、釁於壇角、傾餘血於祭壇下、

遵律法、物以血致潔者居多、蓋不流血、則不得赦、欲致潔法天之幕、必當用此式、則天幕尤當用善祭、

夫萬物本之歸之之上帝、欲令眾子享其榮、緣救世之君受難、以為完人、

宰犢與羊、為民酬恩、亞倫諸子奉血、灑於壇四周。
