He said to Aaron,“ Take a bull calf for your sin offering and a ram for your burnt offering, both without defect, and present them before the Lord.

He brought the bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering.

He presented the ram of the burnt offering. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.

by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.Every priest indeed stands day by day serving and often offering the same sacrifices which can never take away sins,but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God,from that time waiting until his enemies are made the footstool of his feet.For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

who doesn’t need, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices daily, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. For he did this once for all, when he offered up himself.

Moses said to Aaron,“ Draw near to the altar, and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself, and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as Yahweh commanded.”So Aaron came near to the altar, and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

Because of this, he must offer sacrifices for sins for the people, as well as for himself.
