然後，摩西獻上作燔祭的公綿羊，亞倫父子們把手放在羊頭上。摩西宰了那隻羊，將羊血灑在祭壇周圍；把羊切成塊，焚燒羊頭、肉塊和脂肪；用水洗淨羊的內臟和腿，放在壇上焚燒，作蒙耶和華悅納的馨香火祭，都遵照耶和華的吩咐。

作丈夫的要愛妻子，正如基督愛教會，為教會捨己，好藉著自己的道用水洗淨教會，使她聖潔，以便把聖潔、完美、沒有污點、皺紋等瑕疵的榮耀教會呈獻給祂自己。
