然后，摩西献上作燔祭的公绵羊，亚伦父子们把手放在羊头上。摩西宰了那只羊，将羊血洒在祭坛周围；把羊切成块，焚烧羊头、肉块和脂肪；用水洗净羊的内脏和腿，放在坛上焚烧，作蒙耶和华悦纳的馨香火祭，都遵照耶和华的吩咐。

做丈夫的要爱妻子，正如基督爱教会，为教会舍己，好借着自己的道用水洗净教会，使她圣洁，以便把圣洁、完美、没有污点、皱纹等瑕疵的荣耀教会呈献给祂自己。
