他要從平安祭中奉上獻給耶和華的火祭，就是把羊的脂肪，從靠近脊骨的地方取下來的整條肥尾巴，遮蓋內臟的脂肪和在內臟上的一切脂肪，兩腎和腎上近腰的脂肪，和腎旁的肝葉，一起取下。祭司把這些焚燒在祭壇上，是獻給耶和華作食物的火祭。

耶和華卻喜悅把他壓傷，使他受痛苦；耶和華若以他的性命作贖罪祭，他必看見後裔，並且得享長壽；耶和華所喜悅的，必在他手中亨通。

我兒，把你的心給我；你的眼目要關注我的道路。

耶和華說：“這一切都是我親手所造的，所以它們就有了。以下這種人是我要垂顧的，就是謙卑、心靈傷痛、因我的話而戰兢的人。

神所要的祭，就是破碎的靈；神啊！破碎痛悔的心，你必不輕看。

因為那至高無上、永遠存在、他名為聖的這樣說：“雖然我住在至高至聖的地方，卻與心靈痛悔和謙卑的人同在，要使謙卑人的靈甦醒，也使痛悔人的心甦醒。

他要從平安祭中奉上獻給耶和華的火祭，就是把遮蓋內臟的脂肪，和內臟上的一切脂肪，兩腎和腎上近腰旁的脂肪，和腎旁的肝葉，一起取下。亞倫的子孫要把這些放在祭壇炭火上的木柴上面，在燔祭上焚燒，作獻給耶和華馨香的火祭。

祭司要用指頭取一些贖罪祭牲的血，抹燔祭壇的四角，其餘的羊血，都要倒在祭壇腳那裡。羊所有的脂肪都要取出來，好像取出平安祭綿羊羔的脂肪一樣；祭司要把這些放在祭壇耶和華的火祭上面焚燒，祭司為他所犯的罪行贖罪，他就蒙赦免。”

他要取出贖罪祭的公牛所有的脂肪，就是遮蓋內臟的脂肪和內臟上的一切脂肪，兩腎和腎上近腰的脂肪，和腎旁的肝葉，都一起取下來，正如從平安祭的公牛取出來的一樣。祭司要把這些焚燒在燔祭壇上。至於公牛的皮和所有的肉，連頭帶腿，以及內臟和糞，就是整頭公牛，要搬到營外潔淨的地方，倒壇灰的地方，放在柴上用火焚燒，就在倒壇灰的地方焚燒。
