Moses slaughtered the bull and took some of the blood, and with his finger he put it on all the horns of the altar to purify the altar. He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. So he consecrated it to make atonement for it.

Moses killed the bull. He dipped his finger into some of the blood. He put it on the horns that stick out from the upper four corners of the altar. He did it to make the altar pure. He poured out the rest of the blood at the bottom of the altar. So he set it apart to make it pure.

And he killed it, and Moses took the blood, and with his finger put it on the horns of the altar around it and purified the altar and poured out the blood at the base of the altar and consecrated it to make atonement for it.

又要把些血抹在會幕內、耶和華面前香壇的四角上，再把公牛所有的血倒在會幕門口、燔祭壇的腳那裏。

你們從前與神隔絕，因着惡行，心裏與他為敵。但如今他藉着基督的肉身受死，叫你們與自己和好，都成了聖潔，沒有瑕疵，無可責備，把你們引到自己面前。

他要按手在供物的頭上，宰於會幕門口。亞倫子孫作祭司的，要把血灑在壇的周圍。

所以，前約也不是不用血立的；因為摩西當日照着律法將各樣誡命傳給眾百姓，就拿朱紅色絨和牛膝草，把牛犢山羊的血和水灑在書上，又灑在眾百姓身上，說：「這血就是神與你們立約的憑據。」他又照樣把血灑在帳幕和各樣器皿上。按着律法，凡物差不多都是用血潔淨的；若不流血，罪就不得赦免了。照着天上樣式做的物件必須用這些祭物去潔淨；但那天上的本物自然當用更美的祭物去潔淨。

祭司要用指頭蘸些羊的血，抹在燔祭壇的四角上，所有的血都要倒在壇的腳那裏，

「為你本國之民和你聖城，已經定了七十個七。要止住罪過，除淨罪惡，贖盡罪孽，引進永義，封住異象和預言，並膏至聖者。

「你要把公牛牽到會幕前，亞倫和他兒子要按手在公牛的頭上。你要在耶和華面前，在會幕門口，宰這公牛。要取些公牛的血，用指頭抹在壇的四角上，把血都倒在壇腳那裏。

凡贖罪祭，若將血帶進會幕在聖所贖罪，那肉都不可吃，必用火焚燒。」

一切都是出於神；他藉着基督使我們與他和好，又將勸人與他和好的職分賜給我們。這就是神在基督裏，叫世人與自己和好，不將他們的過犯歸到他們身上，並且將這和好的道理託付了我們。所以，我們作基督的使者，就好像神藉我們勸你們一般。我們替基督求你們與神和好。神使那無罪的，替我們成為罪，好叫我們在他裏面成為神的義。

因為我們作仇敵的時候，且藉着神兒子的死，得與神和好；既已和好，就更要因他的生得救了。

主耶和華說，你要將一隻公牛犢作為贖罪祭，給祭司利未人撒督的後裔，就是那親近我、事奉我的。你要取些公牛的血，抹在壇的四角和磴臺的四拐角，並四圍所起的邊上。你這樣潔淨壇，壇就潔淨了。你又要將那作贖罪祭的公牛犢燒在殿外、聖地之外預定之處。次日，要將無殘疾的公山羊獻為贖罪祭；要潔淨壇，像用公牛犢潔淨的一樣。潔淨了壇，就要將一隻無殘疾的公牛犢和羊羣中一隻無殘疾的公綿羊奉到耶和華前。祭司要撒鹽在其上，獻與耶和華為燔祭。七日內，每日要預備一隻公山羊為贖罪祭，也要預備一隻公牛犢和羊羣中的一隻公綿羊，都要沒有殘疾的。七日祭司潔淨壇，壇就潔淨了；要這樣把壇分別為聖。滿了七日，自八日以後，祭司要在壇上獻你們的燔祭和平安祭；我必悅納你們。這是主耶和華說的。」

既在十字架上滅了冤仇，便藉這十字架使兩下歸為一體，與神和好了，

所以，他凡事該與他的弟兄相同，為要在神的事上成為慈悲忠信的大祭司，為百姓的罪獻上挽回祭。

「亞倫為聖所和會幕並壇獻完了贖罪祭，就要把那隻活着的公山羊奉上。

每天要獻公牛一隻為贖罪祭。你潔淨壇的時候，壇就潔淨了；且要用膏抹壇，使壇成聖。要潔淨壇七天，使壇成聖，壇就成為至聖。凡挨着壇的都成為聖。」

本月初七日也要為誤犯罪的和愚蒙犯罪的如此行，為殿贖罪。

把指頭蘸於血中，在耶和華面前對着幔子彈血七次，又要把些血抹在會幕內、耶和華面前壇的四角上，再把所有的血倒在會幕門口、燔祭壇的腳那裏。
