This[ is the portion] of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day[ when] he presented them to minister unto the LORD in the priest’s office;

This is the portion of the food offerings presented to the Lord that were allotted to Aaron and his sons on the day they were presented to serve the Lord as priests.

Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us,[ is] God;

Therefore thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your priest’s office for every thing of the altar, and within the vail; and ye shall serve: I have given your priest’s office[ unto you] as a service of gift: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of mine heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, by an ordinance for ever.This shall be thine of the most holy things,[ reserved] from the fire: every oblation of theirs, every meat offering of theirs, and every sin offering of theirs, and every trespass offering of theirs, which they shall render unto me,[ shall be] most holy for thee and for thy sons.In the most holy[ place] shalt thou eat it; every male shall eat it: it shall be holy unto thee.And this[ is] thine; the heave offering of their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they shall offer unto the LORD, them have I given thee.[ And] whatsoever is first ripe in the land, which they shall bring unto the LORD, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thine house shall eat[ of] it.Every thing devoted in Israel shall be thine.Every thing that openeth the matrix in all flesh, which they bring unto the LORD,[ whether it be] of men or beasts, shall be thine: nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem.And those that are to be redeemed from a month old shalt thou redeem, according to thine estimation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which[ is] twenty gerahs.But the firstling of a cow, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, thou shalt not redeem; they[ are] holy: thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the altar, and shalt burn their fat[ for] an offering made by fire, for a sweet savour unto the LORD.And the flesh of them shall be thine, as the wave breast and as the right shoulder are thine.All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto the LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: it[ is] a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto thee and to thy seed with thee.

And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office,[ even] Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.

For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure[ unto him].

The Spirit of the Lord GOD[ is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to[ them that are] bound;

But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

And it shall come to pass in that day,[ that] his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that[ was] therein, and sanctified them.And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to sanctify them.And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron’s head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.

And thou shalt take of the blood that[ is] upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle[ it] upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him.

Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour[ it] upon his head, and anoint him.

And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which[ was] upon the altar, and sprinkled[ it] upon Aaron,[ and] upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons’ garments with him; and sanctified Aaron,[ and] his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him.
