你和你兒子要盡祭司的本分，負責祭壇和至聖所的一切事務。祭司的職分是我賞賜給你們的，外人若近前來，必被處死。」耶和華對亞倫說：「你看！我讓你照管以色列人獻給我的禮物，把舉祭等一切聖物賜給你和你的子孫，作為你們應得之份。此律永遠不變。以色列人獻給我的至聖之物——素祭、贖罪祭和贖過祭中留下不燒的部分都歸你和你的子孫。你們男子都可以吃這些聖物，要在極其聖潔的地方吃。要把這些視為聖物。以色列人獻的舉祭和搖祭都歸你，我已把它們賜給你和你的兒女，這是永遠的定例。你家中所有潔淨的人都可以吃。我把以色列人獻給耶和華的初熟之物——最好的新油、新酒和五穀都賜給你。他們獻給耶和華的一切初熟之物都歸你，你家中潔淨的人都可以吃。以色列人永遠獻上的一切都要歸你。奉獻給耶和華的長子和頭生的牲畜都歸你，但要贖出長子和不潔淨的頭生牲畜。他們要在滿月的時候被贖回，以聖所的秤為準，即一舍客勒是二十季拉，贖價是五十五克銀子。頭生的牛、綿羊和山羊不用贖出來，牠們都是聖物。你要把牠們的血灑在祭壇上，把脂肪燒掉，作為獻給耶和華的馨香火祭；牠們的肉要歸你，正如搖祭的胸肉和舉祭的右腿肉一樣。以色列人獻給耶和華的聖物中，我把舉祭賜給你和你的兒女，這是永遠的定例，是我與你及你的後代所立的永世之約。」

「你要從以色列百姓當中把你的哥哥亞倫和他四個兒子——拿答、亞比戶、以利亞撒和以他瑪帶到你身邊，立他們為祭司事奉我。

上帝所差來的，說的是上帝的話，因為上帝將聖靈無限量地賜給祂。

主耶和華的靈在我身上，因為耶和華膏立了我，讓我傳福音給貧窮的人，差遣我醫治傷心的人，宣告被擄的人得釋放、被囚的人得自由；

你們從那位聖者領受了聖靈，所以你們明白真理。

到那日，祂必除去亞述人加在你們肩頭的重擔和頸上的軛；那軛必因你們肥壯而折斷。

摩西拿膏油抹聖幕和聖幕裡的一切物件，使它們聖潔；再用膏油在祭壇上灑七次，又抹祭壇和祭壇上的器具、洗濯盆和盆座，使它們聖潔。然後，摩西把膏油倒在亞倫頭上膏立他，使他聖潔。

再從祭壇上取一點血，與膏油一起灑在亞倫父子及其衣服上。這樣，他們和他們的衣服就被分別出來，變得聖潔。

之後，把膏油倒在他的頭上，立他為祭司。

給亞倫穿上聖衣後膏立他，使他分別出來，做聖潔的祭司事奉我。也要把他的兒子們叫來，給他們穿上內袍，用同樣的儀式膏立他們，使他們做祭司事奉我。他們的受膏將使他們永遠做祭司，世代相傳。」

摩西拿了一些膏油和壇上的血，灑在亞倫和他的衣服上，也灑在他兒子們和他們的衣服上，使亞倫父子們和他們的衣服聖潔。
