“你要告訴以色列人說：所有公牛、綿羊或是山羊的脂肪，你們都不可吃。

“你要吩咐以色列人说：牛、绵羊、山羊的脂肪，你们都不可吃。

“你把以下条例告诉以色列人。“你们不可吃牛、绵羊或山羊的脂肪。

“ Say to the Israelites:‘ Do not eat any of the fat of cattle, sheep or goats.

“ Speak to the Israelites. Tell them,‘ Do not eat any of the fat of cattle, sheep or goats.

“ Speak to the people of Israel, saying, You shall eat no fat, of ox or sheep or goat.

“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. You must never eat fat, whether from cattle, sheep, or goats.

“ Tell the Israelites: You are not to eat any fat of an ox, a sheep, or a goat.

“ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying,‘ You shall not eat any fat from an ox, a sheep, or a goat.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, saying:‘ You shall not eat any fat, of ox or sheep or goat.

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no fat, of ox, or sheep, or goat.

“ Tell the Israelites: You are not to eat any fat of an ox, a sheep, or a goat.

祭司把這些焚燒在祭壇上，作為馨香火祭的食物。一切脂肪都是屬於耶和華的，任何脂肪和血你們都不可吃。這是你們在一切住處一條世代永存的律例。”

就是向來吃他們祭牲脂肪的，喝他們奠祭之酒的神在哪裡呢？讓他們興起來幫助你們吧，願他們保護你們吧！

他要取出贖罪祭的公牛所有的脂肪，就是遮蓋內臟的脂肪和內臟上的一切脂肪，兩腎和腎上近腰的脂肪，和腎旁的肝葉，都一起取下來，正如從平安祭的公牛取出來的一樣。祭司要把這些焚燒在燔祭壇上。

你們為甚麼輕視（“輕視”直譯是“踢”）我所吩咐要為我居所獻上的祭牲和禮物呢？（《馬索拉文本》本句意思不明確）你為甚麼尊重你的兒子過於尊重我，用我子民以色列所獻一切最好的禮物自肥呢？’

還有，在焚燒脂油以前，祭司的僕人就來，對獻祭的人說：“把祭肉交給祭司燒烤吧，因為他不會向你要煮過的肉，單要生的。”如果那人對僕人說：“必須先把脂油焚燒了，然後你才可以隨意去拿。”他就說：“不可以，你現在就要給我，否則我就搶去。”這樣，那兩個青年人在耶和華面前所犯的罪很大，因為他們藐視獻給耶和華的祭物。

因為這人民的心思遲鈍，用不靈的耳朵去聽，又閉上了眼睛；免得自己眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裡明白，回轉過來，我就醫好他們。’

行事為人要光明磊落，好像行在白晝。不可荒宴醉酒，不可放蕩縱慾，不可紛爭嫉妒。

如果隨著肉體而活，你們必定死；如果靠著聖靈治死身體的惡行，你們就必活著。

祭司要把血潑在會幕門口耶和華的祭壇上，把脂肪焚燒，獻給耶和華作馨香的祭。
