“惡人若回轉，離開他所犯的一切罪，謹守我的一切律例，行正直和公義的事，就必存活，不致滅亡。他所犯的一切罪過都不會被記念，作控訴他的理由；他必因自己所行的義而存活。難道我喜悅惡人死亡嗎？我不是喜悅他回轉離開他所行的而存活嗎？這是主耶和華的宣告。

“如果有人在耶和華的聖物上不忠實，無意犯了罪，他就要依照你按著聖所衡量銀子標準所估的銀價，把他的贖愆祭牲，就是羊群中一隻沒有殘疾的公綿羊，牽到耶和華面前作贖愆祭。他要補償他在聖物上所虧欠的，另加五分之一，交給祭司；祭司要用贖愆祭的公綿羊為他贖罪，他就蒙赦免。

耶和華說：“你們來，我們彼此辯論；你們的罪雖像硃紅，必變成雪白；雖紅如丹顏，必白如羊毛。

祭司為他所犯的任何一樣罪贖罪，他就蒙赦免。其餘的祭物（“其餘的祭物”直譯是“它”）要歸給祭司，好像素祭一樣。”

我們若承認自己的罪，神是信實的、公義的，必定赦免我們的罪，潔淨我們脫離一切不義。

處理這公牛與處理大祭司的贖罪祭公牛一樣，要按同一條例執行。祭司為他們贖了罪，他們就蒙赦免。

惡人若離開他的惡，去行公平和正直的事，他就必因此存活。

我雖然對惡人說：‘你必定死亡’，但是他若離開他的罪，行公平和正直的事，把抵押歸還，把搶奪人的物件償還，遵行賜生命的律例，不作惡事，他就必存活，不致死亡；他所犯的一切罪，必不被記念；他行了公平和正直的事，就必存活。

他要依照你的估價，從羊群中把一隻沒有殘疾的公綿羊牽來，給祭司作贖愆祭。祭司為他贖罪，那不清楚的無心之失，就蒙赦免。

因此，我告訴你們，人的一切罪和褻瀆的話，都可以赦免；可是，褻瀆聖靈就得不著赦免。

你們不知道不義的人不能承受神的國嗎？不要自欺，無論是行淫亂的、拜偶像的、姦淫的、作孌童的、親男色的、偷竊的、貪心的、醉酒的、辱罵人的或勒索的，都不能承受神的國。你們有些人從前也是這樣的，但現在藉著我們主耶穌基督的名，靠著我們神的靈，都已經洗淨了，聖潔了，稱義了。

有何神像你，赦免罪孽，不追究產業之餘民的過犯呢？他不永遠懷怒，因為他喜愛憐憫。

第二隻作為燔祭的鳥，要按照燔祭的規則獻上，祭司為他的罪行贖罪，他就蒙赦免。

義人若轉離他的義去行惡，他就必因此滅亡；他必因著他所行的不義滅亡。還有，惡人若回轉離開他所行的惡，行正直公義的事，他就可以使自己的性命存活。

母山羊所有的脂肪都要取出來，好像取出平安祭牲的脂肪一樣；然後祭司要把這些焚燒在祭壇上，獻給耶和華作馨香的祭。祭司為他贖了罪，他就蒙赦免。
