「惡人若肯痛改前非，遵守我的律例，秉公行義，就必活著，不致死亡。我必不追究他以前所犯的一切罪行，他必因行事正直而活著。主耶和華說，我難道喜歡惡人死亡嗎？我豈不是更願他們痛改前非並活著嗎？

「如果有人無意中違犯了耶和華聖物的條例，為了贖過，他要從羊群中選一隻毫無殘疾的公綿羊獻給耶和華，或按聖所的秤獻上同等價值的銀子。這是贖過祭。他要賠償所造成的損失，並加賠五分之一，要把這些都交給祭司。祭司要為他獻上公綿羊作贖過祭，為他贖罪，他就會得到赦免。

耶和華說：「來吧，我們彼此理論！你們的罪雖如猩紅，也必潔白如雪；你們的罪雖如緋紅，也必白如羊毛。

這樣，祭司為他贖了罪，他就會得到赦免。剩下的細麵粉要歸祭司，像獻素祭一樣。」

如果我們承認自己的罪，上帝是信實公義的，必赦免我們的罪，洗淨我們一切的不義。

正如取出贖罪祭牲的脂肪一樣。這樣，大祭司為全體會眾贖了罪，他們就會得到赦免。

惡人棄惡行義，必因義行而存活。

我雖對惡人說他必定要死，但他若改邪歸正，行事公正仁義，償還抵押，歸還贓物，遵行生命之律例，不再犯罪，就必存活，不致死亡。他犯的罪不會被追究，因為他行事公正仁義，所以必得存活。

他要從羊群中選一隻毫無殘疾的公綿羊，或把同等價值的銀子帶到祭司那裡作贖過祭。祭司要為他的無心之過贖罪，他就會得到赦免。

所以我告訴你們，一切的罪和褻瀆的話都可以得到赦免，但褻瀆聖靈的罪必得不到赦免。

你們豈不知道不義的人不能承受上帝的國嗎？不要自欺，一切淫亂的、拜偶像的、通姦的、變態的、同性戀的、偷竊的、貪婪的、酗酒的、毀謗的、欺詐的，都不能承受上帝的國。你們當中有些以前就是這樣的人，但靠著主耶穌基督的名和我們上帝的靈，你們已經被洗淨，成為聖潔的義人了。

有何神明像你一樣赦免罪惡，饒恕你倖存子民的過犯？你不會永遠發怒，因為你樂於施恩。

祭司要依照獻燔祭的條例獻上另一隻鳥。這樣，祭司為他贖了罪，他就會得到赦免。

倘若義人離義行惡，他必因犯罪而死。倘若惡人離惡行義，他必救回自己的性命。

獻祭者要像取出平安祭牲的脂肪一樣，取出母山羊的所有脂肪。祭司要把這一切放在壇上焚燒，作為蒙耶和華悅納的馨香之祭。這樣，祭司為他贖了罪，他就會得到赦免。
