我所喜悅的禁食，難道不是以下這樣嗎？鬆開邪惡的鎖鏈，解開軛上的繩索，使被壓迫的人得自由，折斷一切的軛，

如果竊賊實在飢餓，為了充飢而偷竊，人們不會藐視他；但如果他被發現，就要償還七倍，甚至要交出家裡一切的財物。

所以，如果你在祭壇獻上祭物的時候，在那裡想起弟兄向你懷著怨，就要把祭物留在祭壇前，先去與弟兄和好，然後再回來獻上你的祭物。

那時你呼求，耶和華必回應；你呼救，他必說：『我在這裡。』如果你除去你當中的軛，除去對人的指摘和惡毒的言談；
