The son who is to succeed him as anointed priest shall prepare it. It is the Lord’s perpetual share and is to be burned completely.

The son of Aaron who will become the next high priest after him will prepare the grain offering. It is the share that must be given to the Lord for all time to come. It must be completely burned up.

The priest from among Aaron’s sons, who is anointed to succeed him, shall offer it to the Lord as decreed forever. The whole of it shall be burned.

In each generation, the high priest who succeeds Aaron must prepare this same offering. It belongs to the Lord and must be burned up completely. This is a permanent law.

“ Take the fat from the ram, the fat tail, the fat covering the entrails, the fatty lobe of the liver, the two kidneys and the fat on them, and the right thigh( since this is a ram for ordination);take one loaf of bread, one cake of bread made with oil, and one wafer from the basket of unleavened bread that is before the LORD;and put all of them in the hands of Aaron and his sons and present them as a presentation offering before the LORD.Take them from their hands and burn them on the altar on top of the burnt offering, as a pleasing aroma before the LORD; it is a food offering to the LORD.

The Israelites traveled from Beeroth Bene-jaakan to Moserah. Aaron died and was buried there, and Eleazar his son became priest in his place.

“ If the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, he is to present to the LORD a young, unblemished bull as a sin offering for the sin he has committed.

but he washed the entrails and legs with water. He then burned the entire ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering for a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD as he had commanded Moses.
