“ If anyone sins and commits a breach of faith against the Lord by deceiving his neighbor in a matter of deposit or security, or through robbery, or if he has oppressed his neighbor

“若有人犯罪，干犯耶和华，在邻舍交付他的物上，或是在交易上行了诡诈，或是抢夺人的财物，或是欺压邻舍，

“若有人犯罪，得罪了耶和华，就是在邻舍寄托他的东西或抵押品上行诡诈，或抢夺，或欺压邻舍，

“若有人犯罪，得罪了耶和华，就是在邻舍寄托他的东西或抵押品上行诡诈，或抢夺，或欺压邻舍，

“如果有人犯罪，不忠于耶和华，拒绝归还同胞委托他保管的物品或抵押品，或抢掠同胞，或欺骗同胞，

“如果有人犯罪，对耶和华不忠实，在人寄存给他的物上或抵押品上欺骗自己的同伴，或是抢夺，或是欺压自己的同胞，

「若有人犯罪，干犯耶和華，在鄰舍交付他的物上，或是在交易上行了詭詐，或是搶奪人的財物，或是欺壓鄰舍，

「若有人犯罪，得罪了耶和華，就是在鄰舍寄託他的東西或抵押品上行詭詐，或搶奪，或欺壓鄰舍，

“如果有人犯罪，對耶和華不忠實，在人寄存給他的物上或抵押品上欺騙自己的同伴，或是搶奪，或是欺壓自己的同胞，

『若有人犯罪，對永恆主不忠實，在存放或交易的事上欺騙他的同伴，或是搶奪或是欺壓他的同伴，

如人獲罪、干犯耶和華、於受託、貿易而欺人、或竊物、或虐鄰、

如人有差失、違逆於我、受人付托、尚存其手、而誑言不存、或據人物、虐取人財、

人若獲罪干犯主、或受人之付託、或為貿易受人之財、諱之曰未受、或奪人之物、或詐人之財、

“ If anyone sins and is unfaithful to the Lord by deceiving a neighbor about something entrusted to them or left in their care or about something stolen, or if they cheat their neighbor,

“ Suppose someone sins by not being faithful to me. They do it by tricking their neighbors. They trick them in connection with something their neighbors have placed in their care. They steal from their neighbors. Or they cheat them.

“ Suppose one of you sins against your associate and is unfaithful to the Lord. Suppose you cheat in a deal involving a security deposit, or you steal or commit fraud,

“ When someone sins and offends the LORD by deceiving his neighbor in regard to a deposit, a security, or a robbery; or defrauds his neighbor;

“ When a person sins and acts unfaithfully against the Lord, and disavows the rightful claim of his neighbor regarding a deposit or a security entrusted to him, or regarding robbery, or he has extorted from his neighbor,

“ If a person sins and commits a trespass against the Lord by lying to his neighbor about what was delivered to him for safekeeping, or about a pledge, or about a robbery, or if he has extorted from his neighbor,

If any one sin, and commit a trespass against Jehovah, and deal falsely with his neighbor in a matter of deposit, or of bargain, or of robbery, or have oppressed his neighbor,

“ When someone sins and offends the Lord by deceiving his neighbor in regard to a deposit, a security, or a robbery; or defrauds his neighbor;

If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;

“ When a person sins and commits a trespass against the LORD by deceiving his fellow citizen in regard to something held in trust, or a pledge, or something stolen, or by extorting something from his fellow citizen,

“ If anyone sins, and commits a trespass against Yahweh, and deals falsely with his neighbor in a matter of deposit, or of bargain, or of robbery, or has oppressed his neighbor,

Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices

While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but to God.”

“ If a man gives to his neighbor money or goods to keep safe, and it is stolen from the man’s house, then, if the thief is found, he shall pay double.If the thief is not found, the owner of the house shall come near to God to show whether or not he has put his hand to his neighbor’s property.For every breach of trust, whether it is for an ox, for a donkey, for a sheep, for a cloak, or for any kind of lost thing, of which one says,‘ This is it,’ the case of both parties shall come before God. The one whom God condemns shall pay double to his neighbor.“ If a man gives to his neighbor a donkey or an ox or a sheep or any beast to keep safe, and it dies or is injured or is driven away, without anyone seeing it,

Be not a witness against your neighbor without cause, and do not deceive with your lips.

“ You shall not steal; you shall not deal falsely; you shall not lie to one another.

Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another.

Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you may be justified in your words and blameless in your judgment.

Ah, you destroyer, who yourself have not been destroyed, you traitor, whom none has betrayed! When you have ceased to destroy, you will be destroyed; and when you have finished betraying, they will betray you.

When the men of the place asked him about his wife, he said,“ She is my sister,” for he feared to say,“ My wife,” thinking,“ lest the men of the place should kill me because of Rebekah,” because she was attractive in appearance.

Everyone deceives his neighbor, and no one speaks the truth; they have taught their tongue to speak lies; they weary themselves committing iniquity.

Can I forget any longer the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is accursed?Shall I acquit the man with wicked scales and with a bag of deceitful weights?Your rich men are full of violence; your inhabitants speak lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.

“ Speak to the people of Israel, When a man or woman commits any of the sins that people commit by breaking faith with the Lord, and that person realizes his guilt,he shall confess his sin that he has committed. And he shall make full restitution for his wrong, adding a fifth to it and giving it to him to whom he did the wrong.But if the man has no next of kin to whom restitution may be made for the wrong, the restitution for wrong shall go to the Lord for the priest, in addition to the ram of atonement with which atonement is made for him.

You who are of purer eyes than to see evil and cannot look at wrong, why do you idly look at traitors and remain silent when the wicked swallows up the man more righteous than he?

saying,“ When will the new moon be over, that we may sell grain? And the Sabbath, that we may offer wheat for sale, that we may make the ephah small and the shekel great and deal deceitfully with false balances,

“ If anyone commits a breach of faith and sins unintentionally in any of the holy things of the Lord, he shall bring to the Lord as his compensation, a ram without blemish out of the flock, valued in silver shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for a guilt offering.

It is a guilt offering; he has indeed incurred guilt before the Lord.”

is the man who deceives his neighbor and says,“ I am only joking!”

You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

transgressing, and denying the Lord, and turning back from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart lying words.Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far away; for truth has stumbled in the public squares, and uprightness cannot enter.Truth is lacking, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. The Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice.

A stern vision is told to me; the traitor betrays, and the destroyer destroys. Go up, O Elam; lay siege, O Media; all the sighing she has caused I bring to an end.

From the ends of the earth we hear songs of praise, of glory to the Righteous One. But I say,“ I waste away, I waste away. Woe is me! For the traitors have betrayed, with betrayal the traitors have betrayed.”

Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
