凡獻我之燔祭、惟潔者可得捫、故亞倫子孫諸丁男食之、此乃永例、歷世勿替。○

亞倫之後裔、凡男子方可食之、由獻於主之火祭中所得、為爾歷代永定之例、或作此為彼等由獻於主之火祭歷代所應得之分凡捫之者、亦必成聖、○

Any male descendant of Aaron may eat it. For all generations to come it is his perpetual share of the food offerings presented to the Lord. Whatever touches them will become holy.’”

No man of the offspring of Aaron the priest who has a blemish shall come near to offer the Lord’s food offerings; since he has a blemish, he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.He may eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy and of the holy things,

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

since it is written,“ You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

Say to them,‘ If any one of all your offspring throughout your generations approaches the holy things that the people of Israel dedicate to the Lord, while he has an uncleanness, that person shall be cut off from my presence: I am the Lord.None of the offspring of Aaron who has a leprous disease or a discharge may eat of the holy things until he is clean. Whoever touches anything that is unclean through contact with the dead or a man who has had an emission of semen,and whoever touches a swarming thing by which he may be made unclean or a person from whom he may take uncleanness, whatever his uncleanness may be—the person who touches such a thing shall be unclean until the evening and shall not eat of the holy things unless he has bathed his body in water.When the sun goes down he shall be clean, and afterward he may eat of the holy things, because they are his food.

And on that day there shall be inscribed on the bells of the horses,“ Holy to the Lord.” And the pots in the house of the Lord shall be as the bowls before the altar.And every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holy to the Lord of hosts, so that all who sacrifice may come and take of them and boil the meat of the sacrifice in them. And there shall no longer be a trader in the house of the Lord of hosts on that day.

‘ If someone carries holy meat in the fold of his garment and touches with his fold bread or stew or wine or oil or any kind of food, does it become holy?’” The priests answered and said,“ No.”Then Haggai said,“ If someone who is unclean by contact with a dead body touches any of these, does it become unclean?” The priests answered and said,“ It does become unclean.”Then Haggai answered and said,“ So is it with this people, and with this nation before me, declares the Lord, and so with every work of their hands. And what they offer there is unclean.

It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, in all your dwelling places, that you eat neither fat nor blood.”

Seven days you shall make atonement for the altar and consecrate it, and the altar shall be most holy. Whatever touches the altar shall become holy.

Whatever touches its flesh shall be holy, and when any of its blood is splashed on a garment, you shall wash that on which it was splashed in a holy place.
