他們要清除壇上的灰，把紫色布鋪在壇上。又要把在壇上供職使用的一切器具，就是火鼎、肉叉、鏟子、盤子，都擺在上面；再蓋上海狗皮罩，然後穿上槓。

他要從平安祭中奉上獻給耶和華的火祭，就是把羊的脂肪，從靠近脊骨的地方取下來的整條肥尾巴，遮蓋內臟的脂肪和在內臟上的一切脂肪，兩腎和腎上近腰的脂肪，和腎旁的肝葉，一起取下。祭司把這些焚燒在祭壇上，是獻給耶和華作食物的火祭。

“這就是你要獻在祭壇的：每天兩隻一歲的羊羔。第一隻羊你要在早晨獻上；第二隻在傍晚的時候獻上，和這一隻羊同獻的，要用一公斤細麵與一公升榨成的油混和，又要用一公升酒作奠祭。那另一隻羊你要在傍晚的時候獻上，照著早晨的素祭和它的奠祭一樣辦理，作馨香之氣，作獻給耶和華的火祭。這要作你們世世代代常獻的燔祭，獻在會幕的門口，耶和華的面前，我要在那裡與你們相會，在那裡和你們說話。

他要從供物中奉上獻給耶和華的火祭，就是把遮蓋內臟的脂肪和內臟上的脂肪，兩腎和腎上近腰的脂肪，和腎旁的肝葉，都要一起取下。祭司把這些焚燒在祭壇上，作為馨香火祭的食物。一切脂肪都是屬於耶和華的，

在那裡蟲是不死的，火是不滅的。每一個人必被火當鹽來醃。（有些抄本在此有“各祭物必用鹽來醃”一句；也有些抄本只有附註的一句，而沒有正文的一句）

我又指派人按時供應木柴和奉獻初熟之物。“我的神啊，求你記念我，施恩給我。”
