我们凭着这旨意，藉着耶稣基督身体做供物，就已经一次性地被分别为圣了。所有的祭司天天都站着服事，再三地献上同样的祭物，但这些祭物绝不能把罪孽除掉，而这一位为赎罪孽献上了一个永远的祭物，就在神的右边坐下了，

故此，他必须在各方面都像他的弟兄们那样，为要在属神的事上成为怜悯人的、忠心的大祭司，好为子民的罪孽献上平息祭。

基督替我们成了诅咒，从律法的诅咒中救赎了我们，因为经上记着：“凡是被挂在木头上的，都是被诅咒的。”

不仅如此，我们现在藉着主耶稣基督与神和好了，就更要藉着他以神夸耀。

从那信实的见证者、死人中首先复活的、地上众君王的元首耶稣基督，临到你们！他爱我们，用自己的血，把我们从我们的罪孽中释放出来，

他是神荣耀的光辉，是神本体的真像，以自己大能的话语托住万有。他成就了洁净罪孽的事，就坐在高天至尊者的右边。

更何况基督的血呢！基督藉着永恒的圣灵，将自己毫无瑕疵地献给神，他的血难道不能洁净我们的良心脱离致死的行为，使我们事奉永生的神吗？

“为了你的民，为了你的圣城，有七十个‘七’被定下了，为要结束罪过，终止罪恶，赎清罪孽，带来永远的公义，封住异象和预言，膏抹至圣所。
