He shall remove all the fat from it and burn it on the altar,

He must remove all the fat from the bull. He must burn it on the altar.

Then the priest must remove all the animal’s fat and burn it on the altar,

In this way the priest will make atonement for them for the sin they have committed, and they will be forgiven. (niv)

I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart has turned to wax; it has melted within me. (niv)

In this way the priest will make atonement for them before the Lord, and they will be forgiven for any of the things they did that made them guilty.” (niv)

As a penalty for the sin they have committed, they must bring to the Lord a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for them for their sin. (niv)

The rest of the oil in his palm the priest shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed and make atonement for them before the Lord. (niv)

But if she cannot afford a lamb, she is to bring two doves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for her, and she will be clean.’” (niv)

How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! (niv)

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. (niv)

He shall burn all the fat on the altar as he burned the fat of the fellowship offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for the leader’s sin, and he will be forgiven. (niv)

The priest is to make atonement for the whole Israelite community, and they will be forgiven, for it was not intentional and they have presented to the Lord for their wrong a food offering and a sin offering. (niv)
