The elders of the community are to lay their hands on the bull’s head before the Lord, and the bull shall be slaughtered before the Lord.

The elders of the community must place their hands on the bull’s head in the sight of the Lord. The bull must be killed in the sight of the Lord.

And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bull before the Lord, and the bull shall be killed before the Lord.

摩西上了山，亞倫、拿答、亞比戶、跟以色列長老中的七十人也都上去。

永恆主對摩西說：『你要從以色列長老中聚集七十個人、就是你所知道做人民的長老和官吏的、到我這裏來，領他們到會棚前，叫他們和你一同站在那裏。

摩西把解罪祭的公牛牽來；亞倫和他的兒子們按手在解罪祭公牛頭上，

他又把第二隻公綿羊、就是承受聖職所獻的公綿羊、牽來：亞倫和他兒子們按手在那公綿羊頭上；

他要把公牛牽到會棚的出入處，在永恆主面前、按手在公牛頭上，在永恆主面前把公牛宰了。

你將利未人奉到永恆主面前，以色列人要按手在利未人頭上：

離那被刺死的人最近的城，那城的長老要取牛羣中一隻母牛犢、就是未曾被用來耕種過、未曾負軛拉過東西的。那城的長老要把那母牛犢牽下去到一個有活水長流的谿谷、就是未曾被耕種過、未曾被撒過種的，在那裏、就在谿谷間、把那母牛犢的脖子打折了。祭司利未的子孫要湊近前，因為永恆主你的上帝是揀選了他們來事奉他、來奉永恆主的名祝福的。一切爭訟一切毆打的事都要憑他們的口所說的來判決。離那被刺死的人最近的、那城的眾長老要在谿谷間在脖子被打折的母牛犢以上洗手。他們要應聲申明說：「這血我們的手未曾使它流過，我們的眼也未曾看見過。永恆主啊，求你赦宥你人民以色列、就是你所贖救的；不要使流無辜血的罪歸在你人民以色列中間；總要使他們流人血的罪得除淨。」這樣、你既行了永恆主所看為對的事，你就從你中間把流無辜血的罪肅清了。

亞倫要把兩手按在那隻活的公山羊頭上，在羊身上承認以色列人的一切罪愆、一切過犯跟一切的罪，把這一切都歸在那公山羊頭上，交在一個隨時有準備的人手裏，去放到曠野。

永恆主對摩西說：『你要上來見永恆主，你和亞倫、拿答、亞比戶、跟以色列長老中的七十人都要上來，遠遠地敬拜。
