‘ Now if the whole congregation of Israel sins unintentionally, and the thing is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done something against any of the commandments of the Lord in anything which should not be done, and are guilty;

“以色列全会众若行了耶和华所吩咐不可行的什么事，误犯了罪，是隐而未现、会众看不出来的，

“以色列全会众若犯了错，在任何事上犯了一条耶和华所吩咐的禁令，而有了罪，会众看不出这隐藏的事；

“以色列全会众若犯了错，在任何事上犯了一条耶和华所吩咐的禁令，而有了罪，会众看不出这隐藏的事；

“以色列全体会众若无意中触犯耶和华的诫命，即使没有意识到，也是犯罪。

“如果以色列全体会众无意犯罪，是隐而未现、会众看不出来的，但他们行了一件耶和华吩咐不可行的事，他们就有罪。

“如果以色列全體會眾無意犯罪，是隱而未現、會眾看不出來的，但他們行了一件耶和華吩咐不可行的事，他們就有罪。

『若是以色列全會眾在永恆主所吩咐不可行的事上作錯了事、去行其一件，以致有了罪責，而那件事又是隱藏着而大眾的眼看不出來的；

如以色列會眾誤干耶和華之命、為所不當為、以取罪戾、而不自知、

如以色列會眾、誤干我命、為所不當為、昔不自明、

若以色列會眾、誤犯主誡命之一、行所不可行者、而不自知、遂致陷於罪愆、

“‘ If the whole Israelite community sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands, even though the community is unaware of the matter, when they realize their guilt

“‘ Or suppose the whole community of Israel sins without meaning to. They do something the Lord commands us not to do. Suppose they realize their guilt.

“ If the whole congregation of Israel sins unintentionally and the thing is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they do any one of the things that by the Lord’s commandments ought not to be done, and they realize their guilt,

“ If the entire Israelite community sins by violating one of the Lord’s commands, but the people don’t realize it, they are still guilty.

“ Now if the whole community of Israel errs, and the matter escapes the notice of the assembly, so that they violate any of the LORD’s commands and incur guilt by doing what is prohibited,

‘ Now if the entire congregation of Israel does wrong unintentionally and the matter escapes the notice of the assembly, and they commit any of the things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, and they become guilty;

And if the whole congregation of Israel err, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done any of the things which Jehovah hath commanded not to be done, and are guilty;

“ Now if the whole community of Israel errs, and the matter escapes the notice of the assembly, so that they violate any of the Lord’s commands and incur guilt by doing what is prohibited,

And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done[ somewhat against] any of the commandments of the LORD[ concerning things] which should not be done, and are guilty;

“‘ If the whole congregation of Israel strays unintentionally and the matter is not noticed by the assembly, and they violate one of the Lord’s commandments, which must not be violated, so they become guilty,

“‘ If the whole congregation of Israel sins, and the thing is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, and are guilty;

“ If a person sins, and commits any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord, though he does not know it, yet he is guilty and shall bear his iniquity.

‘ Or if a person touches any unclean thing, whether it is the carcass of an unclean beast, or the carcass of unclean livestock, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and he is unaware of it, he also shall be unclean and guilty.Or if he touches human uncleanness— whatever uncleanness with which a man may be defiled, and he is unaware of it— when he realizes it, then he shall be guilty.‘ Or if a person swears, speaking thoughtlessly with his lips to do evil or to do good, whatever it is that a man may pronounce by an oath, and he is unaware of it— when he realizes it, then he shall be guilty in any of these matters.‘ And it shall be, when he is guilty in any of these matters, that he shall confess that he has sinned in that thing;

I will return again to My place Till they acknowledge their offense. Then they will seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?

then it will be, if it is unintentionally committed, without the knowledge of the congregation, that the whole congregation shall offer one young bull as a burnt offering, as a sweet aroma to the Lord, with its grain offering and its drink offering, according to the ordinance, and one kid of the goats as a sin offering.So the priest shall make atonement for the whole congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them, for it was unintentional; they shall bring their offering, an offering made by fire to the Lord, and their sin offering before the Lord, for their unintended sin.It shall be forgiven the whole congregation of the children of Israel and the stranger who dwells among them, because all the people did it unintentionally.‘ And if a person sins unintentionally, then he shall bring a female goat in its first year as a sin offering.So the priest shall make atonement for the person who sins unintentionally, when he sins unintentionally before the Lord, to make atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.You shall have one law for him who sins unintentionally, for him who is native-born among the children of Israel and for the stranger who dwells among them.

Then Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, the silver, the garment, the wedge of gold, his sons, his daughters, his oxen, his donkeys, his sheep, his tent, and all that he had, and they brought them to the Valley of Achor.And Joshua said,“ Why have you troubled us? The Lord will trouble you this day.” So all Israel stoned him with stones; and they burned them with fire after they had stoned them with stones.Then they raised over him a great heap of stones, still there to this day. So the Lord turned from the fierceness of His anger. Therefore the name of that place has been called the Valley of Achor to this day.

And they gave their promise that they would put away their wives; and being guilty, they presented a ram of the flock as their trespass offering.

Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. For they have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they have also put it among their own stuff.

although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,“ Speak to the children of Israel, saying:‘ If a person sins unintentionally against any of the commandments of the Lord in anything which ought not to be done, and does any of them,

Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

then it shall be, because he has sinned and is guilty, that he shall restore what he has stolen, or the thing which he has extorted, or what was delivered to him for safekeeping, or the lost thing which he found,
