So he consecrated it to make atonement for it.Moses also took all the fat around the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, and both kidneys and their fat, and burned it on the altar.But the bull with its hide and its flesh and its intestines he burned up outside the camp, as the Lord commanded Moses. The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp.And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. So Aaron came to the altar and slaughtered the calf as a sin offering for himself.His sons brought the blood to him, and he dipped his finger into the blood and put it on the horns of the altar; the rest of the blood he poured out at the base of the altar.On the altar he burned the fat, the kidneys and the long lobe of the liver from the sin offering, as the Lord commanded Moses;the flesh and the hide he burned up outside the camp.
