“‘ Suppose someone brings an animal from the flock as a friendship offering to the Lord. It can be either male or female. It must not have any flaws.

“如果用羊作祭物向耶和华献平安祭，必须献毫无残疾的公羊或母羊。

人若是献羊作平安祭的供物给耶和华，必须献一只没有残疾的公羊或母羊。

『人的供物若是以羊羣中的為平安祭獻與永恆主，無論是公的是母的，他總要供獻一隻完全沒有殘疾的。

如獻羊為酬恩之祭、或牡或牝、必純全無疵、奉於耶和華、

如欲獻羊以酬恩、牝牡俱可、純潔是務、以奉於我。

人獻平安祭、若用羊、無論牝牡皆當用無疵者以獻、

“‘ If you offer an animal from the flock as a fellowship offering to the Lord, you are to offer a male or female without defect.

“ If his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering to the Lord is an animal from the flock, male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

“ If you present an animal from the flock as a peace offering to the Lord, it may be a male or a female, but it must have no defects.

“ If his offering as a fellowship sacrifice to the LORD is from the flock, he is to present a male or female without blemish.

But if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings to the Lord is from the flock, he shall offer it, male or female, without defect.

‘ If his offering as a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord is of the flock, whether male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

And if his oblation for a sacrifice of peace- offerings unto Jehovah be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

“ If his offering as a fellowship sacrifice to the Lord is from the flock, he must present a male or female without blemish.

And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the LORD[ be] of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

“‘ If his offering for a peace offering sacrifice to the LORD is from the flock, he must present a flawless male or female.

“‘ If his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh is from the flock, either male or female, he shall offer it without defect.

At one time you were far away from God. But now you belong to Christ Jesus. He spilled his blood for you. This has brought you near to God.Christ himself is our peace. He has made Jews and Gentiles into one group of people. He has destroyed the hatred that was like a wall between us.Through his body on the cross, Christ set aside the law with all its commands and rules. He planned to create one new people out of Jews and Gentiles. He wanted to make peace between them.He planned to bring both Jews and Gentiles back to God as one body. He planned to do this through the cross. On that cross, Christ put to death their hatred toward one another.He came and preached peace to you who were far away. He also preached peace to those who were near.Through Christ we both come to the Father by the power of one Holy Spirit.So you are no longer outsiders and strangers. You are citizens together with God’s people. You are also members of God’s family.You are a building that is built on the apostles and prophets. They are the foundation. Christ Jesus himself is the most important stone in the building.The whole building is held together by him. It rises to become a holy temple because it belongs to the Lord.And because you belong to him, you too are being built together. You are being made into a house where God lives through his Spirit.

All of Kedar’s flocks will be gathered to you. The rams of Nebaioth will serve as your sacrifices. I will accept them as offerings on my altar. That is how I will bring honor to my glorious temple.

Brothers and sisters, God has shown you his mercy. So I am asking you to offer up your bodies to him while you are still alive. Your bodies are a holy sacrifice that is pleasing to God. When you offer your bodies to God, you are worshiping him in the right way.Don’t live the way this world lives. Let your way of thinking be completely changed. Then you will be able to test what God wants for you. And you will agree that what he wants is right. His plan is good and pleasing and perfect.

But then the chosen time came. God sent his Son. A woman gave birth to him. He was born under the authority of the law.

“‘ If someone offers a burnt offering from the flock, it must be a male animal. It can be a sheep or a goat. It must not have any flaws.

In fact, Herod and Pontius Pilate met with the Gentiles in this city. They also met with the people of Israel. All of them made plans against your holy servant Jesus. He is the one you anointed.

“ Speak to the Israelites. Tell them,‘ Suppose anyone among you brings an offering to the Lord. They must bring an animal from their herd or flock.

There is no Jew or Gentile. There is no slave or free person. There is no male or female. That’s because you are all one in Christ Jesus.

It will all come about when history has been completed. God will then bring together all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

God’s grace has now appeared. By his grace, God offers to save all people.His grace teaches us to say no to godless ways and sinful desires. We must control ourselves. We must do what is right. We must lead godly lives in today’s world.

“‘ Suppose someone brings a friendship offering. If they offer an animal from the herd, it can be either male or female. It must not have any flaws. They must offer it in the sight of the Lord.They must place their hand on the animal’s head. It must be killed at the entrance to the tent of meeting. Then the priests in Aaron’s family line must splash the blood against the sides of the altar.Part of the friendship offering must be given to the Lord as a food offering. It must include all the fat that is connected to them.It must include both kidneys with the fat on them next to the lower back muscles. It must also include the long part of the liver. All of it must be removed together with the kidneys.Then the priests in Aaron’s family line must burn it on the altar. They must burn it on top of the burnt offering that is lying on the burning wood. It is a food offering. Its smell pleases the Lord.“‘ Suppose someone brings an animal from the flock as a friendship offering to the Lord. It can be either male or female. It must not have any flaws.If they bring a lamb, they must offer it in the sight of the Lord.They must place their hand on the lamb’s head. It must be killed there in front of the tent of meeting. Then the priests in Aaron’s family line must splash its blood against the sides of the altar.Part of the offering must be brought as a sacrifice presented to the Lord. It must include the lamb’s fat and the entire fat tail cut off close to the backbone. It must include all the fat that is connected to them.It must include both kidneys with the fat on them next to the lower back muscles. The offering must also include the long part of the liver. That must be removed together with the kidneys.Then the priest must burn the offering on the altar as food. It is a food offering presented to the Lord.“‘ If someone brings a goat, they must offer it in the sight of the Lord.They must place their hand on its head. It must be killed there in front of the tent of meeting. Then the priests in Aaron’s family line must splash its blood against the sides of the altar.Part of the offering must be brought as a food offering presented to the Lord. It must include all the fat that is connected to them.It must include both kidneys with the fat on them next to the lower back muscles. It must also include the long part of the liver. That must be removed together with the kidneys.Then the priest must burn the offering on the altar as food. It is a food offering. It has a pleasant smell. All the fat belongs to the Lord.“‘ You must not eat any fat or any blood. That is a law that will last for all time to come. It applies no matter where you live.’ ”
