You are to lay your hand on the head of your offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the tent of meeting. Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash the blood against the sides of the altar.

They must place their hand on the animal’s head. It must be killed at the entrance to the tent of meeting. Then the priests in Aaron’s family line must splash the blood against the sides of the altar.

And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and kill it at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall throw the blood against the sides of the altar.

“ You are to bring the bull to the front of the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons must lay their hands on the bull’s head.

He will slaughter it on the north side of the altar before the LORD. Aaron’s sons the priests will splatter its blood against the altar on all sides.

He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Next he presented the second ram, the ram of ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.

“ Then I will pour out a spirit of grace and prayer on the house of David and the residents of Jerusalem, and they will look at me whom they pierced. They will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child and weep bitterly for him as one weeps for a firstborn.

You killed the source of life, whom God raised from the dead; we are witnesses of this.

God raised up his servant and sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your evil ways.”

The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers assemble together against the Lord and against his Messiah.“ For, in fact, in this city both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, assembled together against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed,to do whatever your hand and your will had predestined to take place.

let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified and whom God raised from the dead— by him this man is standing here before you healthy.This Jesus is the stone rejected by you builders, which has become the cornerstone.There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved.”

“ Therefore let all the house of Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”When they heard this, they were pierced to the heart and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles,“ Brothers, what should we do?”Peter replied,“ Repent and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Aaron will lay both his hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the Israelites’ iniquities and rebellious acts— all their sins. He is to put them on the goat’s head and send it away into the wilderness by the man appointed for the task.The goat will carry all their iniquities into a desolate land, and the man will release it there.

We all went astray like sheep; we all have turned to our own way; and the LORD has punished him for the iniquity of us all.
