水濯以潔之、傳道而使為聖、

祭司悉焚於壇、為燔祭以享、取其馨香、而奉事我。

乃取所得、牛羊與犢、宰之於野、肉尚有血而食之。人告掃羅曰、民食有血之肉、干耶和華命。掃羅曰、爾曹犯罪、當移大石至此。又曰、遍告於民、使各牽牛羊於此、宰之而食可也。肉尚有血者毋食、恐干耶和華命。是夜民各牽牛、宰之於彼。

牛酥羊酪、羔羊之膋、牡山羊、牡綿羊、俱由巴山而至、以給其用、至嘉之麥粉使食、葡萄之清汁使飲、

彼異邦人身心不潔、爾導之入我聖所、以玷我室、爾雖獻餅餌血膋、亦作不端、背我盟約、

緣以色列族蹈於愆尤、代為贖罪、歲凡一次、著為永例。摩西遵耶和華所諭而行。

凡爾有眾、及旅於爾者、苟食血、我必罰之、絕於民中。血乃生物之命、我賜爾灑之於壇、以贖爾命、蓋血乃以贖命焉。故諭爾眾、及旅於爾者、俱無食血。如爾有眾賓旅、獵取禽獸、可供食品者、必瘞其血、蓋血乃生物之命、故禁爾眾毋食、食之者必見絕。不論宗族賓旅、食自斃或斷傷之禽畜、必蒙不潔、當澣衣濯身、迨夕乃免。不然必負罪愆。

獻我之群畜、有食其脂者、必絕於民中。或禽、或畜之血、爾隨往勿食。凡食血者、必絕之民中。

耶穌語門徒曰、欲為我徒、則當克己、負十字架以從、

汝往哉、食其珍錯、飲其甘旨、無者頒之、此乃聖日、奉事耶和華、勿復殷憂、惟賴耶和華、眾姓臚歡。
