因為基督也曾一次為罪受苦，就是義的代替不義的，為要引領你們到上帝面前。在肉體裏，他被治死；但在靈裏，他復活了。

並新約的中保耶穌，以及所灑的血；這血所說的信息比亞伯的血所說的更美。

我們都如羊走迷，各人偏行己路；耶和華使我們眾人的罪孽都歸在他身上。

同樣，他也必使許多國家驚奇，君王要向他閉口。未曾傳給他們的，他們必看見；未曾聽見過的事，他們要明白。

就是照父上帝的預知，藉着聖靈得以成聖，以致順服耶穌基督，又蒙他血所灑的人。願恩惠、平安多多地賜給你們！

但是過犯不如恩賜，若因一人的過犯，眾人都死了，那麼，上帝的恩典，與那因耶穌基督一人而來的恩典中的賞賜，豈不加倍地臨到眾人嗎？因一人犯罪而來的後果，也不如賞賜，原來審判是由一人而定罪，恩賜乃是由許多過犯而稱義。若因一人的過犯，死就因這一人掌權，那些受洪恩又蒙所賜之義的，豈不更要因耶穌基督一人在他們生命中掌權嗎？這樣看來，因一次的過犯，所有的人都被定罪；照樣，因一次的義行，所有的人也就被稱義而得生命了。因一人的悖逆，眾人成為罪人；照樣，因一人的順從，眾人也成為義了。而且加添了律法，使得過犯增加，只是罪在哪裏增加，恩典就在哪裏越發豐盛了。所以，正如罪藉着死掌權；照樣，恩典也藉着義掌權，使人因我們的主耶穌基督得永生。

上帝使那無罪的，替我們成為罪，好使我們在他裏面成為上帝的義。

「人獻平安祭為供物，若是從牛羣中獻，無論是公的母的，要用沒有殘疾的，獻在耶和華面前。他要按手在供物的頭上，在會幕的門口宰了牠。亞倫子孫作祭司的，要把血灑在壇的周圍。從平安祭中，他要把火祭獻給耶和華，就是包着內臟的脂肪和內臟上所有的脂肪，兩個腎和腎上的脂肪，即靠近腎兩旁的脂肪，以及肝上的網油，連同腎一起取下。亞倫的子孫要把這些擺在燒着火的柴上，燒在壇的燔祭上，是獻給耶和華為馨香的火祭。

因自己的勞苦，他必看見光就心滿意足。因自己的認識，我的義僕使許多人得稱為義，他要擔當他們的罪孽。因此，我要使他與位大的同份，與強盛的均分擄物。因為他傾倒自己的生命，以至於死，也列在罪犯之中。他卻擔當多人的罪，為他們的過犯代求。

我們還軟弱的時候，基督就在特定的時刻為不敬虔之人死。為義人死，是少有的；為仁人死，或者有敢做的。惟有基督在我們還作罪人的時候為我們死，上帝的愛就在此向我們顯明了。現在我們既靠着他的血稱義，就更要藉着他得救，免受上帝的憤怒。因為我們作仇敵的時候，尚且藉着上帝兒子的死得以與上帝和好，既已和好，就更要因他的生得救了。不但如此，我們既藉着我們的主耶穌基督得以與上帝和好，也就藉着他以上帝為樂。
