他被挂在木头上，亲身担当了我们的罪，使我们既然在罪上死，就得以在义上活。因他受的鞭伤，你们便得了医治。

因基督也曾一次为罪受苦，就是义的代替不义的，为要引我们到神面前。按着肉体说，他被治死；按着灵性说，他复活了。

并新约的中保耶稣，以及所洒的血；这血所说的比亚伯的血所说的更美。

我们都如羊走迷；各人偏行己路；耶和华使我们众人的罪孽都归在他身上。

这样，他必洗净许多国民；君王要向他闭口。因所未曾传与他们的，他们必看见；未曾听见的，他们要明白。

就是照父神的先见被拣选，藉着圣灵得成圣洁，以致顺服耶稣基督，又蒙他血所洒的人。愿恩惠、平安多多地加给你们。

只是过犯不如恩赐，若因一人的过犯，众人都死了，何况神的恩典，与那因耶稣基督一人恩典中的赏赐，岂不更加倍地临到众人吗？因一人犯罪就定罪，也不如恩赐，原来审判是由一人而定罪，恩赐乃是由许多过犯而称义。若因一人的过犯，死就因这一人作了王，何况那些受洪恩又蒙所赐之义的，岂不更要因耶稣基督一人在生命中作王吗？如此说来，因一次的过犯，众人都被定罪；照样，因一次的义行，众人也就被称义得生命了。因一人的悖逆，众人成为罪人；照样，因一人的顺从，众人也成为义了。律法本是外添的，叫过犯显多；只是罪在哪里显多，恩典就更显多了。就如罪作王叫人死；照样，恩典也藉着义作王，叫人因我们的主耶稣基督得永生。

神使那无罪的，替我们成为罪，好叫我们在他里面成为神的义。

“人献供物为平安祭，若是从牛群中献，无论是公的是母的，必用没有残疾的献在耶和华面前。他要按手在供物的头上，宰于会幕门口。亚伦子孙作祭司的，要把血洒在坛的周围。从平安祭中，将火祭献给耶和华，也要把盖脏的脂油和脏上所有的脂油，并两个腰子和腰子上的脂油，就是靠腰两旁的脂油，与肝上的网子和腰子，一概取下。亚伦的子孙要把这些烧在坛的燔祭上，就是在火的柴上，是献与耶和华为馨香的火祭。

他必看见自己劳苦的功效，便心满意足。有许多人因认识我的义仆得称为义；并且他要担当他们的罪孽。所以，我要使他与位大的同份，与强盛的均分掳物。因为他将命倾倒，以致于死；他也被列在罪犯之中。他却担当多人的罪，又为罪犯代求。

因我们还软弱的时候，基督就按所定的日期为罪人死。为义人死，是少有的；为仁人死，或者有敢做的。惟有基督在我们还作罪人的时候为我们死，神的爱就在此向我们显明了。现在我们既靠着他的血称义，就更要藉着他免去神的忿怒。因为我们作仇敌的时候，且藉着神儿子的死，得与神和好；既已和好，就更要因他的生得救了。不但如此，我们既藉着我主耶稣基督得与神和好，也就藉着他以神为乐。
