“‘ If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before Yahweh.

『人的供物若是山羊，他要把羊牽到永恆主面前；

如獻山羊、奉於耶和華前、

如欲獻山羊、以奉於我、

若所獻者為山羊、當牽於主前、

“‘ If your offering is a goat, you are to present it before the Lord,

“‘ If someone brings a goat, they must offer it in the sight of the Lord.

“ If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord

“ If you present a goat as your offering, bring it to the Lord,

“ If his offering is a goat, he is to present it before the LORD.

‘ Now if his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord,

‘ And if his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord.

And if his oblation be a goat, then he shall offer it before Jehovah:

“ If his offering is a goat, he is to present it before the Lord.

And if his offering[ be] a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD.

“‘ If his offering is a goat he must present it before the LORD,

that you may be accepted, you shall offer a male without defect, of the bulls, of the sheep, or of the goats.But you shall not offer whatever has a defect, for it shall not be acceptable for you.Whoever offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh to accomplish a vow, or for a free will offering of the herd or of the flock, it shall be perfect to be accepted. It shall have no defect.You shall not offer what is blind, is injured, is maimed, has a wart, is festering, or has a running sore to Yahweh, nor make an offering by fire of them on the altar to Yahweh.Either a bull or a lamb that has any deformity or lacking in his parts, that you may offer for a free will offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.You must not offer to Yahweh that which has its testicles bruised, crushed, broken, or cut. You must not do this in your land.You must not offer any of these as the bread of your God from the hand of a foreigner, because their corruption is in them. There is a defect in them. They shall not be accepted for you.’”Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,“ When a bull, a sheep, or a goat is born, it shall remain seven days with its mother. From the eighth day on it shall be accepted for the offering of an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

“‘ If his offering is from the flock, from the sheep or from the goats, for a burnt offering, he shall offer a male without defect.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them,‘ When anyone of you offers an offering to Yahweh, you shall offer your offering of the livestock, from the herd and from the flock.

All we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way; and Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

He presented the people’s offering, and took the goat of the sin offering which was for the people, and killed it, and offered it for sin, like the first.

You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying,‘ Take a male goat for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both a year old, without defect, for a burnt offering;

For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no good looks or majesty. When we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

He shall skin the burnt offering, and cut it into pieces.

“‘ If his offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings, if he offers it from the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without defect before Yahweh.

For what the law couldn’t do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh;

If he offers a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before Yahweh;and he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting. Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.He shall offer from the sacrifice of peace offerings an offering made by fire to Yahweh; its fat, the entire tail fat, he shall take away close to the backbone; and the fat that covers the entrails, and all the fat that is on the entrails,and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away.The priest shall burn it on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire to Yahweh.“‘ If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before Yahweh.He shall lay his hand on its head, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.He shall offer from it as his offering, an offering made by fire to Yahweh; the fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards,and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away.The priest shall burn them on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire, for a pleasant aroma; all the fat is Yahweh’s.“‘ It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings, that you shall eat neither fat nor blood.’”

Moses diligently inquired about the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burned. He was angry with Eleazar and with Ithamar, the sons of Aaron who were left, saying,
