‘ Now if his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord,

『人的供物若是山羊，他要把羊牽到永恆主面前；

如獻山羊、奉於耶和華前、

如欲獻山羊、以奉於我、

若所獻者為山羊、當牽於主前、

“‘ If your offering is a goat, you are to present it before the Lord,

“‘ If someone brings a goat, they must offer it in the sight of the Lord.

“ If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord

“ If you present a goat as your offering, bring it to the Lord,

“ If his offering is a goat, he is to present it before the LORD.

‘ And if his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord.

And if his oblation be a goat, then he shall offer it before Jehovah:

“ If his offering is a goat, he is to present it before the Lord.

And if his offering[ be] a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD.

“‘ If his offering is a goat he must present it before the LORD,

“‘ If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before Yahweh.

for you to be accepted— it must be a male without defect from the cattle, the sheep, or the goats.Whatever has a defect, you shall not offer, for it will not be accepted for you.When someone offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to the Lord to fulfill a special vow or for a voluntary offering, of the herd or of the flock, it must be without defect to be accepted; there shall be no defect in it.Those that are blind, fractured, maimed, or have a wart, a festering rash, or scabs, you shall not offer to the Lord, nor make of them an offering by fire on the altar to the Lord.Now as for an ox or a lamb which has an overgrown or stunted member, you may present it as a voluntary offering, but for a vow it will not be accepted.Also anything with its testicles squashed, crushed, torn off, or cut off, you shall not offer to the Lord, nor sacrifice in your land,nor shall you offer any of these animals taken from the hand of a foreigner as the food of your God; for their deformity is in them, they have an impairment. They will not be accepted for you.’ ”Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,“ When an ox or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall remain seven days with its mother, and from the eighth day on it will be considered acceptable as a sacrifice of an offering by fire to the Lord.

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

‘ But if his offering is from the flock, either from the sheep or from the goats, as a burnt offering, he shall offer a male without defect.

“ Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them,‘ When anyone of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of livestock from the herd or the flock.

All of us, like sheep, have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the wrongdoing of us all To fall on Him.

And all the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats;and He will put the sheep on His right, but the goats on the left.

Then he presented the people’s offering, and took the goat of the sin offering which was for the people, and slaughtered it and offered it for sin, like the first.

Then you shall speak to the sons of Israel, saying,‘ Take a male goat as a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both one year old, without defect, as a burnt offering,

For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, And like a root out of dry ground; He has no stately form or majesty That we would look at Him, Nor an appearance that we would take pleasure in Him.

He shall then skin the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces.

‘ Now if his offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings, if he is going to offer from the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without defect before the Lord.

For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

If he is going to offer a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before the Lord,and he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it in front of the tent of meeting, and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.From the sacrifice of peace offerings he shall then bring as an offering by fire to the Lord, its fat, the entire fat tail which he shall remove close to the backbone, the fat that covers the entrails, and all the fat that is on the entrails,and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys.Then the priest shall offer it up in smoke on the altar as food, an offering by fire to the Lord.‘ Now if his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord,and he shall lay his hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the tent of meeting, and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.From it he shall present his offering as an offering by fire to the Lord, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails,and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys.The priest shall offer them up in smoke on the altar as food, an offering by fire as a soothing aroma; all fat is the Lord’s.It is a permanent statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places: you shall not eat any fat or any blood.’ ”

But Moses searched carefully for the goat of the sin offering, and behold, it had been burned! So he was angry with Aaron’s surviving sons Eleazar and Ithamar, saying,
