“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel. If anyone makes a special vow to dedicate someone to the Lord by paying the value of that person,

“你晓谕以色列人说：人还特许的愿，被许的人要按你所估的价值归给耶和华。

“你要吩咐以色列人，对他们说：人向耶和华许特别的愿，要按照你所估一个人的价钱。

“你要吩咐以色列人，对他们说：人向耶和华许特别的愿，要按照你所估一个人的价钱。

“你把以下条例告诉以色列人。“如果有人许下特别的愿，以付身价的方式奉献一个人给耶和华，就要为被奉献者估定身价。

“你要告诉以色列人，对他们说：如果人许特别的愿，献身给耶和华，就要依照你的估价献身价。

「你曉諭以色列人說：人還特許的願，被許的人要按你所估的價值歸給耶和華。

“ Speak to the Israelites and say to them:‘ If anyone makes a special vow to dedicate a person to the Lord by giving the equivalent value,

“ Speak to the Israelites. Tell them,‘ Suppose someone makes a special promise to set a person apart to serve the Lord. Here is how much it will cost to set that person free from the promise to serve.

“ Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, If anyone makes a special vow to the Lord involving the valuation of persons,

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When someone makes a special vow to the LORD that involves the assessment of people,

“ Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them,‘ When someone makes an explicit vow, he shall be valued according to your assessment of persons belonging to the Lord.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them:‘ When a man consecrates by a vow certain persons to the Lord, according to your valuation,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall accomplish a vow, the persons shall be for Jehovah by thy estimation.

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When someone makes a special vow to the Lord that involves the assessment of people,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons[ shall be] for the LORD by thy estimation.

“ Speak to the Israelites and tell them,‘ When a man makes a special votive offering based on the conversion value of persons to the LORD,

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them,‘ When a man consecrates a person to Yahweh in a vow, according to your valuation,

“ Give the following instructions to the people of Israel.“ If any of the people, either men or women, take the special vow of a Nazirite, setting themselves apart to the Lord in a special way,

“ When you make a vow to the Lord your God, be prompt in fulfilling whatever you promised him. For the Lord your God demands that you promptly fulfill all your vows, or you will be guilty of sin.However, it is not a sin to refrain from making a vow.But once you have voluntarily made a vow, be careful to fulfill your promise to the Lord your God.

When she returned home, her father kept the vow he had made, and she died a virgin. So it has become a custom in Israel

And she made this vow:“ O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, if you will look upon my sorrow and answer my prayer and give me a son, then I will give him back to you. He will be yours for his entire lifetime, and as a sign that he has been dedicated to the Lord, his hair will never be cut.”

Now I am giving him to the Lord, and he will belong to the Lord his whole life.” And they worshiped the Lord there.

And Jephthah made a vow to the Lord. He said,“ If you give me victory over the Ammonites,I will give to the Lord whatever comes out of my house to meet me when I return in triumph. I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering.”

When you make a promise to God, don’t delay in following through, for God takes no pleasure in fools. Keep all the promises you make to him.It is better to say nothing than to make a promise and not keep it.

“ If a young woman makes a vow to the Lord or a pledge under oath while she is still living at her father’s home,

Then Jacob made this vow:“ If God will indeed be with me and protect me on this journey, and if he will provide me with food and clothing,and if I return safely to my father’s home, then the Lord will certainly be my God.And this memorial pillar I have set up will become a place for worshiping God, and I will present to God a tenth of everything he gives me.”

Then the people of Israel made this vow to the Lord:“ If you will hand these people over to us, we will completely destroy all their towns.”
