“‘ If anyone dedicates their house as something holy to the Lord, the priest will judge its quality as good or bad. Whatever value the priest then sets, so it will remain.

“‘ Suppose someone sets apart their house as something holy to the Lord. Then the priest will decide whether it is good or bad. Its value will remain what he decides it will be.

“ When a man dedicates his house as a holy gift to the Lord, the priest shall value it as either good or bad; as the priest values it, so it shall stand.

“ If someone dedicates a house to the Lord, the priest will come to assess its value. The priest’s assessment will be final, whether high or low.

“ When a man consecrates his house as holy to the LORD, the priest will assess its value, whether high or low. The price will stand just as the priest assesses it.

‘ Now if someone consecrates his house as holy to the Lord, then the priest shall assess it as either good or bad; as the priest assesses it, so shall it stand.

‘ And when a man dedicates his house to be holy to the Lord, then the priest shall set a value for it, whether it is good or bad; as the priest values it, so it shall stand.

And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto Jehovah, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.

“ When a man consecrates his house as holy to the Lord, the priest will assess its value, whether high or low. The price will stand just as the priest assesses it.

I will be careful to lead a blameless life— when will you come to me? I will conduct the affairs of my house with a blameless heart.I will not look with approval on anything that is vile. I hate what faithless people do; I will have no part in it.The perverse of heart shall be far from me; I will have nothing to do with what is evil.Whoever slanders their neighbor in secret, I will put to silence; whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart, I will not tolerate.My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; the one whose walk is blameless will minister to me.No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house; no one who speaks falsely will stand in my presence. When the field is released in the Jubilee, it will become holy, like a field devoted to the Lord; it will become priestly property. (niv)

“‘ Anyone who sells a house in a walled city retains the right of redemption a full year after its sale. During that time the seller may redeem it.If it is not redeemed before a full year has passed, the house in the walled city shall belong permanently to the buyer and the buyer’s descendants. It is not to be returned in the Jubilee.But houses in villages without walls around them are to be considered as belonging to the open country. They can be redeemed, and they are to be returned in the Jubilee. (niv)
