我賜境內平康、驅逐暴獸、毋許興戎、爾可安寢、無人使爾危懼。

賜爾境內平康、可以安寢、無人恐爾、我必絕滅暴獸於斯土、刀劍不行於爾地、

“‘ I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove wild beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country.

“‘ I will give you peace in the land. You will be able to sleep because no one will make you afraid. I will remove wild animals from the land. There will not be any war in your country.

I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid. And I will remove harmful beasts from the land, and the sword shall not go through your land.

“ I will give you peace in the land, and you will be able to sleep with no cause for fear. I will rid the land of wild animals and keep your enemies out of your land.

猛獅暴獸、不復遇之、被救之民、咸遵斯道、

以色列之遺民、不行非義、不言誕妄、中心無偽、安分樂業、無震駭之虞、

爾之處境、常獲平康、爾之兆民、得食嘉麥、亦主所賜兮。

我必結約、恆賜平康、驅猛獸於斯土、即在郊原林樹之間、亦得咸若、或寢或訛。

耶和華又曰、我僕雅各家以色列族、勿懼、我拯救爾、爰及苗裔、使雅各家、來自遠方、脫於俘囚、將歸故土、俱享平康、不受恐喝。

又曰、後建之殿、榮光燭照、較先建之殿、尤為朗耀、我必錫平康於斯、萬有之主耶和華已言之矣。

如我使暴獸侵噬其國、致之荒蕪、人蹤罕見、

斯時我不使我民有野獸飛鳥昆蟲之害、亦不使斯邦有弓刃戰鬥之虞、民得安居。

佑助選民、厚錫平康兮。

惟以法蓮耶路撒冷之車馬、我將絕滅之、折其強弓、王以和平之語、撫綏異邦人、四海之內、自大河至地極、悉歸統轄、

爾可安寢、警爾者寡、諛爾者眾、

如我降以鋒刃、使其國人畜、悉行翦滅、

予安然偃卧、錫我安居、惟耶和華而已。

不第降以饑饉、亦使暴獸攘爾子女、又使瘟疫鋒刃、臨於爾邦、耶和華已言之矣。

爾將生子、命名所羅門、彼喜平康、在世之日、我必拯之於群敵、錫綏安於以色列族、

維彼庶民、咸於葡萄樹無花果下、受其庇蔭、震驚之者、迄無一人、萬有之主耶和華已言之矣。

一年中我不逐之盡、免土地荒蕪、野獸孳生。

希律欲曳之出、是夜彼得繫於二鐵索、卧二卒中、守者獄門外守焉、

始居之時、民不寅畏耶和華、故耶和華使獅殺數人。或告亞述王曰、爾所遷徙之民、居於撒馬利亞諸邑者、不識斯土上帝之例、故見殺於獅。

主耶和華又曰、我使四災降於耶路撒冷、鋒刃、饑饉、暴獸、瘟疫、使人畜靡有孑遺、其害豈非尤重乎。

我偃而卧、我寢而醒、蓋我為耶和華所保定、

我遺爾以安、即以我之安賜爾、我所賜、非如世所賜、爾心勿憂勿懼、

是以我儕由信稱義、賴吾主耶穌基督得親於上帝、

繼大闢之位、其國昌大、長享綏安、保定之、延釐之、維公與正、自今而後、永世靡暨、萬有之主耶和華、必熱中而行之。

耶和華上帝、頒予以明詔、錫安於聖民。不使其妄為、予必聽從之兮。

使暴獸入爾境、攘爾子、食爾牲、致戶口凋殘、逵衢寂寞。

高卧安寢、無所畏懼。

以利沙回顧之、籲耶和華名、加以咒詛、遂有二牝熊、出林間、斷傷孺子四十二人。

則上帝錫爾平康、人意所不及、因基督耶穌守爾心志、要之、兄弟凡真實善良、公義廉潔、可愛可稱、有德有譽者、皆當念茲、所學所受、所見所聞於我者、皆當行之、願賜平康之上帝祐爾、

或禍或福、或光或暗、俱我耶和華使之然。

建築宮室、不蒙耶和華祐、俱為徒勞兮、謹守城垣、不賴耶和華助、亦為虛事兮、由是觀之、縱夙興夜寐、心緒紛紜、以謀餬口、亦係徒勞、上帝所愛者、必得安寢兮。

耶利米既寤、回思睡鄉甚樂。

不噬於獸、不傷於石。

行時則導爾、寢時則保爾、寤時則語爾。
