住在至高者隱祕處的，將安居在全能者的蔭庇下。我要對耶和華說：「我的避難所、我的要塞、我的神，我依靠你！」是的，他必解救你脫離捕鳥人的網羅，脫離致命的瘟疫；他必用自己的羽翼遮蔽你，你要投靠在他的翅膀底下；他的信實是盾牌和壁壘。你必不怕夜間的恐懼，或是白天飛來的箭；也不怕幽暗中流行的瘟疫，或是正午毀滅人的病毒。即使千人仆倒在你旁邊，萬人仆倒在你右邊，災禍也不會接近你。你只要用眼觀看，就會看到惡人的報應。因為你把耶和華——至高者、我的避難所——當作你的居所，惡事必不會發生在你身上，疾患也不會靠近你的帳篷；因為他會為你吩咐他的天使們，在你一切的道路上保守你；他們會用手把你舉起來，免得你的腳撞到石頭上；你會踏在猛獅和毒蛇身上，踩踏少壯獅子和大蛇。「因為他愛慕我，我就挽救他；因為他認識我的名，我就高舉他。

神是我們的避難所和力量，是患難中隨時可得的幫助，因此我們不害怕——即使大地變動，群山動搖陷入海中；即使海洋的眾水咆哮、翻騰，群山因海水上漲而震動，我們也不害怕。細拉有一條河，它的眾支流使神的城歡喜；這城是至高者聖潔的住所。神在這城當中，城就不致動搖；清晨來臨，神就幫助她。列邦喧鬧，列國動搖；神發出聲音，大地就消融。萬軍之耶和華與我們同在，雅各的神是我們的庇護所。細拉

於是他對自己的門徒們說：「收割的工作多，而工人少。所以你們要祈求收割的主催促工人參與他的收割工作。」

你們藉著信，在神的大能中蒙保守，以至於那預備好要在末世顯現的救恩。

主啊，你世世代代是我們的居所！

你們不是說『收割的季節還有四個月才到』嗎？看哪，我告訴你們：舉目向田裡觀望，莊稼已經成熟，可以收割了！收割的人得酬報，收集果實歸入永恆的生命，好使撒種的和收割的一同快樂。

耶和華的名是堅固的塔樓，義人跑進去就安穩在高處。

「耶路撒冷啊，耶路撒冷！這城殺害先知們，又用石頭砸死被差到她這裡的人！我多次想聚集你的兒女，像母雞把自己的小雞聚集在翅膀下，可是你們不願意！

其實神並不是沒有為自己留下證據，因為他常行美善：從天上賜給你們雨水和豐收的季節，使你們食物充足，滿心喜樂。」
