Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them or abhor them so as to destroy them completely, breaking my covenant with them. I am the Lord their God.

But even after all that, I will not say no to you or turn away from you. I will not destroy you completely in the land of your enemies. I will not break my covenant with you. I am the Lord your God.

耶和華不棄其民、不遺其業兮、

耶和華云、我所立晝夜之約、如爾曹能廢之、使晝夜失時、則我與我僕大衛所立之約亦可廢、使彼乏嗣以踐其位、事我之祭司利未人、其約亦可廢焉、

惟爾在彼、盡心盡意求爾上帝耶和華、則必得之、迨至季世、爾遇苦難、所言諸事、臨及爾身、爾必歸爾上帝耶和華、而聽其命、爾上帝耶和華、乃仁慈之上帝、必不棄爾、不滅爾、不忘與爾列祖所立之約、

惟耶和華因與亞伯拉罕以撒雅各所立之約、施恩矜恤之、眷顧之、尚不滅之、不逐之於其前、

然爾幼時、我與爾立約、我追憶之、必復與爾立永約、

則我遺棄雅各之裔、及我僕大衛之裔、不取大衛之裔、以治亞伯拉罕以撒雅各之後、蓋我必返其俘囚、加以矜恤、

為爾名故、勿厭我、勿辱爾尊榮之位、記憶與我所立之約、勿廢之、

雖然、邑中尚有遺民、子女被攜而出、至於爾所、爾曹見其所行所為、則於我降災耶路撒冷之事、而得慰藉、爾曹見其所行所為、必得慰藉、亦知我所行於耶路撒冷者、非出無因、主耶和華言之矣、

然我之慈惠、不盡追回、我之信實、不忍廢棄、

如是以色列全族悉得救也、如經云、將有救者自錫安而出、革雅各之不虔、

耶和華曰、我與爾偕、以拯救爾、我必盡滅我散爾所至之邦、而不盡滅爾、惟從寬責爾、不能不罰爾焉、○
