I will scatter you among the nations and will draw out my sword and pursue you. Your land will be laid waste, and your cities will lie in ruins.

人們向他們喊道：「走開！你們是不潔的！走開！走開！不要靠近我們。」於是他們逃亡、流蕩，列國的人說：「他們不可住在我們這裡。」

「耶和華要把你們分散到天下萬邦，你們要在那裡供奉祖祖輩輩素不認識的木石神像。你們在萬邦中將不得安寧，沒有落腳之地，耶和華必使你們膽戰心驚、目光呆滯、精神頹廢。你們必惴惴不安，晝夜恐懼，生死難料。

我是作上帝和主耶穌基督奴僕的雅各，問候散居各地的十二支派的人。

猶大飽受苦難和奴役，被擄往遠方，流落異邦，找不到安居之所。她在走投無路之際被追敵擒獲。
