I will destroy your high places, cut down your incense altars, and cast your carcasses on the lifeless forms of your idols; and My soul shall abhor you.

我又要毁坏你们的邱坛，砍下你们的日像，把你们的尸首扔在你们偶像的身上；我的心也必厌恶你们。

我必毁坏你们的邱坛，砍倒你们的香坛，把你们的尸体扔在你们仆倒的偶像上面；我的心必厌弃你们。

我又要毀壞你們的邱壇，砍下你們的日像，把你們的屍首扔在你們偶像的身上；我的心也必厭惡你們。

我必破毁你們的邱壇，砍下你們的香壇，把你們的屍身扔在你們的偶像的屍身上；我的心必厭棄你們。

我亦毀爾崇邱、斫爾日像、以爾尸骸、擲於偶像之上、我心必厭惡爾、

爾造日象、築崇邱、我必毀之、棄爾尸骸、以及偶像、共相枕藉、我中心憾爾、

我必毀爾邱壇、滅爾日像、使爾之屍與爾偶像偃仆一處、我心必憎爾、

I will destroy your high places, cut down your incense altars and pile your dead bodies on the lifeless forms of your idols, and I will abhor you.

I will destroy the high places where you worship other gods. I will pull down your incense altars. I will pile up your dead bodies on the lifeless statues of your gods. And I will turn away from you.

And I will destroy your high places and cut down your incense altars and cast your dead bodies upon the dead bodies of your idols, and my soul will abhor you.

I will destroy your pagan shrines and knock down your places of worship. I will leave your lifeless corpses piled on top of your lifeless idols, and I will despise you.

I will destroy your high places, cut down your shrines, and heap your lifeless bodies on the lifeless bodies of your idols; I will reject you.

I then will destroy your high places, and cut down your incense altars, and pile your remains on the remains of your idols, for My soul will loathe you.

And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your sun- images, and cast your dead bodies upon the bodies of your idols; and my soul shall abhor you.

I will destroy your high places, cut down your incense altars, and heap your dead bodies on the lifeless bodies of your idols; I will reject you.

And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

He executed all the priests of the high places who were there, on the altars, and burned men’s bones on them; and he returned to Jerusalem.

Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when their slain are among their idols all around their altars, on every high hill, on all the mountaintops, under every green tree, and under every thick oak, wherever they offered sweet incense to all their idols.

Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be covered; And this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: When he makes all the stones of the altar Like chalkstones that are beaten to dust, Wooden images and incense altars shall not stand.

and say,‘ O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God to the mountains, to the hills, to the ravines, and to the valleys:“ Indeed I, even I, will bring a sword against you, and I will destroy your high places.Then your altars shall be desolate, your incense altars shall be broken, and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.And I will lay the corpses of the children of Israel before their idols, and I will scatter your bones all around your altars.In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate, so that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, your idols may be broken and made to cease, your incense altars may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.

Now when all this was finished, all Israel who were present went out to the cities of Judah and broke the sacred pillars in pieces, cut down the wooden images, and threw down the high places and the altars— from all Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh— until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned to their own cities, every man to his possession.

But You have cast off and abhorred, You have been furious with Your anointed.

Then he cried out against the altar by the word of the Lord, and said,“ O altar, altar! Thus says the Lord:‘ Behold, a child, Josiah by name, shall be born to the house of David; and on you he shall sacrifice the priests of the high places who burn incense on you, and men’s bones shall be burned on you.’”

As Josiah turned, he saw the tombs that were there on the mountain. And he sent and took the bones out of the tombs and burned them on the altar, and defiled it according to the word of the Lord which the man of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these words.

Have You utterly rejected Judah? Has Your soul loathed Zion? Why have You stricken us so that there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but there was no good; And for the time of healing, and there was trouble.

For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was still young, he began to seek the God of his father David; and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem of the high places, the wooden images, the carved images, and the molded images.They broke down the altars of the Baals in his presence, and the incense altars which were above them he cut down; and the wooden images, the carved images, and the molded images he broke in pieces, and made dust of them and scattered it on the graves of those who had sacrificed to them.He also burned the bones of the priests on their altars, and cleansed Judah and Jerusalem.And so he did in the cities of Manasseh, Ephraim, and Simeon, as far as Naphtali and all around, with axes.When he had broken down the altars and the wooden images, had beaten the carved images into powder, and cut down all the incense altars throughout all the land of Israel, he returned to Jerusalem.

And all the people went to the temple of Baal, and tore it down. They broke in pieces its altars and images, and killed Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars.

For they provoked Him to anger with their high places, And moved Him to jealousy with their carved images.When God heard this, He was furious, And greatly abhorred Israel,

And he brought all the priests from the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beersheba; also he broke down the high places at the gates which were at the entrance of the Gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were to the left of the city gate.

“ At that time,” says the Lord,“ they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of its princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves.They shall spread them before the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and which they have served and after which they have walked, which they have sought and which they have worshiped. They shall not be gathered nor buried; they shall be like refuse on the face of the earth.Then death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of those who remain of this evil family, who remain in all the places where I have driven them,” says the Lord of hosts.

And you shall not walk in the statutes of the nation which I am casting out before you; for they commit all these things, and therefore I abhor them.

and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant,

I will set My tabernacle among you, and My soul shall not abhor you.
