必降爾兵刃之災、討爾背約之罪、爾奔集於城中、必降瘟疫於爾間、付爾於敵手、

我又要使刀剑临到你们，报复你们背约的仇；聚集你们在各城内，降瘟疫在你们中间，也必将你们交在仇敌的手中。

為爾背約、故以鋒刃擊爾、洩我忿怒。爾若集於邑垣、我必使疫癘流行、付爾於敵。

And I will bring the sword on you to avenge the breaking of the covenant. When you withdraw into your cities, I will send a plague among you, and you will be given into enemy hands.

I will send war against you to punish you for breaking my covenant. When you go back into your cities, I will send a plague among you. You will be handed over to your enemies.

And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall execute vengeance for the covenant. And if you gather within your cities, I will send pestilence among you, and you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

I will send armies against you to carry out the curse of the covenant you have broken. When you run to your towns for safety, I will send a plague to destroy you there, and you will be handed over to your enemies.

我欲降疫癘以翦滅之、使爾成為大族、較彼強盛、

我降饑饉於爾、使暴獸噬爾子女、使疫癘與殺戮之事、流行爾中、且使鋒刃臨於爾、我耶和華已言之矣、

如我使其國遇鋒刃、鋒刃徧害其地、於其中絕人與畜、

少男幼女、嬰孩老叟、外遭鋒刃、內受驚惶、

曰、以色列諸山、當聽主天主之言、主天主對山、對岡、對谷、對平原、如是云、我必使鋒刃臨於爾曹、我必毀爾之邱壇、

主必使爾曹遭瘟疫、滅爾於爾所往得之地、

故主天主如是云、我必使鋒刃臨於爾、自爾中翦滅人與畜、

人子、當言與爾民、告之曰、如我使一國遭兵刃之災、其國之民、於其中選一人、置為守望者、

萬有之主如是云、我必使鋒刃饑饉疫癘臨之、使之若惡劣不可食之無花果、必使鋒刃饑饉疫癘窘迫之、使天下萬邦、加之凌虐、使天下萬邦加之凌虐或作必使之在天下萬邦流離無所必使之在我所逐之之各邦受咒詛、令人驚駭、被譏笑、受羞辱、

我必使其遭鋒刃、饑饉、瘟疫、以至滅於我所賜彼及其列祖之地焉、

必散之於列國、即彼與其祖不識之國、使刃追襲其後、翦滅之殆盡、

若有犯摩西律法者、二三人作證、必殺之無赦、況蹂躪天主之子、以使人成聖之約之血為不潔、又侮慢施恩之聖神、爾意其人應受之刑、當如何重哉、經載主云、罰惡在我、我必報之、言此者、我儕知之、又曰、主必審鞫其民、

使己民為刀劍所殺、向己子民大震厥怒、使其丁男被火焚燒、處女無人迎娶、祭司被刃殺戮、嫠婦亦不哀哭、

為可拉之事而死者外、遭疫癘而死者、計一萬四千七百人、

故主怒以色列人、交於掠者之手掠之、付於四圍敵之手、使不能再立於敵前、無論何往、主皆譴責、降之以災、如主所言、亦如主向彼所誓、於是斯民困苦已極、主為之立士師拯之於掠之者手、

如彼問爾曰、我儕可往何處、爾則告之曰、主如是云、當死者就死、當亡於刃者就刃、當饑者就饑、當擄者就擄、主又曰、我為之命定四災、刃以殺之、犬以囓之、飛鳥以噬之、野獸以滅之、又必使之受凌虐於天下萬邦、皆因猶大王希西家子瑪拿西、所行於耶路撒冷之事、

我降爾以疫癘、與昔降於伊及無異、以刃戮爾壯男、使爾馬匹被擄、使爾軍旅盡亡、臭氣撲鼻、爾猶不歸誠於我、此乃主所言、

我磨礪我刀利刃閃爍、我秉公義於我手中、必報復我敵、施報憾我之人、

主曰、我之刃浸潤在天、浸潤在天或作在天如醉我使臨於以東、臨於我所擬定滅亡之民、施行懲罰、主之刃飽以血、潤以脂、飽以羔羊山羊之血、潤以牡綿羊腰之脂、蓋主在波斯拉行殺戮、在以東大行誅殛、

懲罰在我我必報復、其足躓蹶必有其時、彼之受禍其日伊邇、當受之報速臨其身、

彼雖禁食、我不聽其呼籲、彼獻火焚祭與禮物、禮物或作他祭我不悅納、必以鋒刃饑饉疫癘、滅之淨盡、我耶利米曰、哀哉、主天主歟、眾先知曾告斯民曰、爾必不見鋒刃、不遭饑饉、主必使爾於斯地永享平康、

老幼仆於街衢塵埃、我處女壯士殞亡於刃、當主震怒之時、誅殺屠戮、不加矜恤、

我必使爾歸我統轄、必使爾為盟約所束、

主天主歟、復仇在主、天主歟、復仇在主、求主彰榮顯威、

隨在地大震、有饑饉、瘟疫、又有可畏之象、及大異之兆、自天而現、

因我欲翦滅善者惡者於爾中、故我刃拔出於鞘、殺戮一切有血氣者、自南至北、使凡有血氣者、知我耶和華拔刃出鞘、刃不復入鞘、○惟爾人子、當咨嗟嘆息、痛苦嗟嘆、猶若斷腰、猶若斷腰或作至於腸腰使眾目睹、如彼問爾曰、緣何嗟嘆、爾則曰、因風聞將來之事、人皆膽怯、手疲心惶、膝弱如水、其事必至必成、此乃主天主所言、○主有言諭我曰、人子、爾述預言曰、主如是云、當曰、有刃也、即磨利之刃、又已磨光焉、刃磨利以行殺戮、磨光以能閃爍、我儕豈可喜樂哉、其刃為罰我子民而備、因藐視杖責、刃已付於人磨光、可執於手、刃已磨利磨光、可付於行殺戮之人手、人子、爾當號咷哀哭、因其事事或作刃臨及我民、臨及以色列諸侯伯、彼與我民俱為刃所殺、故當搥股浩嘆、此刃為行試而備、或作此刃已行試若彼藐視杖責之族、歸於無有、亦無如之何、此乃主天主所言、惟爾人子、當鼓掌言未來事、言未來事或作述預言下同使刃至再至三、此刃殺戮多民、入其密室、誅滅大人、使刃至再至三此刃殺戮多民入其密室誅滅大人或作此刃必再三行殺戮此乃殺戮多人之刃此乃殺戮大人之刃必入其密室我在彼諸邑門、已備其磨光之刃、使彼喪膽、多人顛躓、斯刃磨光閃爍、並甚快利、以備殺戮、刃歟、爾或右向、或左向、隨爾所向、皆竭力以殺、我亦必鼓掌以雪我忿、以雪我忿或作盡洩我怒我耶和華已言之矣、○

於是主降瘟疫於以色列人中、自其日清晨、至於所定之日期、自但至別是巴、民中死者七萬、
