‘ And if by these things you do not learn your lesson regarding Me, but you show hostility toward Me,

“你们因这些事若仍不改正归我，行事与我反对，

“如果这样，你们还不接受管教归向我，行事与我作对，

“如果这样，你们还不接受管教归向我，行事与我作对，

“如果你们还是与我作对，

“但如果你们经过这些事仍然不归向我，行事仍与我的心意相违，

「你們因這些事若仍不改正歸我，行事與我反對，

「如果這樣，你們還不接受管教歸向我，行事與我作對，

「如果這樣，你們還不接受管教歸向我，行事與我作對，

「如果你們還是與我作對，

“但如果你們經過這些事仍然不歸向我，行事仍與我的心意相違，

『經了這些事、你們若不接受管教而歸向我，行事反而跟我作對，

爾猶不悛、所行逆我、

爾猶不順受譴責、所行逆我、

至此爾猶不受責服我、仍逆我以行、

“‘ If in spite of these things you do not accept my correction but continue to be hostile toward me,

“‘ After all those things, suppose you still do not accept my warnings. And suppose you continue to be my enemy.

“ And if by this discipline you are not turned to me but walk contrary to me,

“ And if you fail to learn the lesson and continue your hostility toward me,

“ If in spite of these things you do not accept my discipline, but act with hostility toward me,

‘ And if by these things you are not reformed by Me, but walk contrary to Me,

And if by these things ye will not be reformed unto me, but will walk contrary unto me;

“ If in spite of these things you do not accept My discipline, but act with hostility toward Me,

And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;

“‘ If in spite of these things you do not allow yourselves to be disciplined and you walk in hostility against me,

“‘ If by these things you won’t be turned back to me, but will walk contrary to me,

Lord, do Your eyes not look for honesty? You have struck them, But they did not weaken; You have consumed them, But they refused to accept discipline. They have made their faces harder than rock; They have refused to repent.

“ In vain I have struck your sons; They did not accept discipline. Your sword has devoured your prophets Like a destroying lion.

“ But I gave you also cleanness of teeth in all your cities, And lack of bread in all your places; Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the Lord.“ Furthermore, I withheld the rain from you While there were still three months until harvest. Then I would send rain on one city, But on another city I would not send rain; One part would be rained on, While the part not rained on would dry up.So the people of two or three cities would stagger to another city to drink water, But would not be satisfied; Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the Lord.“ I struck you with scorching wind and mildew; The caterpillar was devouring Your many gardens and vineyards, fig trees and olive trees; Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the Lord.“ I sent a plague among you as in Egypt; I killed your young men with the sword, along with your captured horses, And I made the stench of your camp rise up in your nostrils; Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the Lord.“ I overthrew you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, And you were like a log snatched from a fire; Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the Lord.“ Therefore so I will do to you, Israel; Because I will do this to you, Prepare to meet your God, Israel.”

“ Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. Stop doing evil,Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor, Obtain justice for the orphan, Plead for the widow’s case.“ Come now, and let us debate your case,” Says the Lord,“ Though your sins are as scarlet, They shall become as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be like wool.If you are willing and obedient, You will eat the best of the land;But if you refuse and rebel, You will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

‘ Yet if you show hostility toward Me and are unwilling to obey Me, I will increase the plague on you seven times according to your sins.

In your filthiness is outrageous sin. Because I would have cleansed you, Yet you are not clean, You will not be cleansed from your filthiness again Until I have expended My wrath on you.I, the Lord, have spoken; it is coming and I will act. I will not overlook, I will not pity, and I will not be sorry; according to your ways and according to your deeds I will judge you,” declares the Lord God.’ ”
