豈不知你們的身體就是聖靈的殿堂麼？聖靈是那在你們裏面的、是你們從上帝那裏得來的。你們又不是屬於自己的；因為你們乃是重價買來的；總要在你們的身體上榮耀上帝。

『我使你的肩膀脫離重擔，使你的手得以放下筐子。你在急難中呼求，我便救拔你；我在雷轟的隱密處應了你，在米利巴水的事上試驗了你。（細拉）我的人民哪，你要聽，我勸告你。以色列啊，巴不得你肯聽我！在你中間不可有外族人的神；外人的神你不可敬拜。我永恆主才是你的上帝，這曾把你從埃及地領上來的。你要大大張開了口，我就使你的口充滿。

我必將這杯遞在那苦待你、的人手中，因為他們曾對你說：『你俯首屈身，讓我們踹過去！你便使背脊像地，好像街道、任人踹過去』。

因為他們是我的僕人，是我從埃及地領出來的，他們不能被賣去做奴隸。
