“很久以前，我折断你的轭，解开你的捆索，你却拒绝事奉我，在各高岗上、绿树下躺卧淫乱。

因为以色列人是我的仆人，是我从埃及领出来的仆人。我是你们的上帝耶和华。

岂不知你们的身体就是圣灵的殿吗？你们里面住着上帝所赐的圣灵。你们不再属于自己，因为你们是上帝用重价买来的，所以你们要用自己的身体使祂得荣耀。

“我卸下了你肩上的重担，使你的双手不再做苦工，你在苦难中向我呼求，我就拯救了你，从雷声隆隆的密云中应允了你。我在米利巴泉边考验你。（细拉）我的子民啊，要听我的警告。以色列人啊，但愿你们听从我的话。你们断不可供奉别的神明，也不可向外族的神明下拜，我是你们的上帝耶和华，曾把你们带出埃及。张开你们的口吧，我必使你们饱足。

我必把这杯给苦待你的人，他们曾对你说，‘趴下，我们好从你身上走过。’你曾把你的背当作地面，当作街道任人践踏。”

因为以色列人是我的仆人，是我从埃及带出来的，所以他们不可卖身为奴。
