“ If an alien or temporary resident living among you prospers, but your brother living near him becomes destitute and sells himself to the alien living among you, or to a member of the resident alien’s clan,

“住在你那里的外人或寄居的，若手头渐渐宽裕，你的弟兄却渐渐贫穷，将自己卖给那外人或寄居的，或外人家族的一支，

“住在你那里的外人或寄居的，若手头渐渐宽裕，你的弟兄却渐渐贫穷，将自己卖给那外人或寄居的，或外人家族的一支，

“如果你们中间的外族人渐渐富裕，你们同胞中却有人日益贫穷，把自己卖给外族人或他们的族人，

“在你中间寄居的外人或是客旅若是富足起来，你的兄弟在他那里却渐渐穷乏，把自己卖给住在你那里寄居的外人或客旅的家族，

「住在你那裏的外人，或是寄居的，若漸漸富足，你的弟兄卻漸漸窮乏，將自己賣給那外人，或是寄居的，或是外人的宗族，

「住在你那裏的外人或寄居的，若手頭漸漸寬裕，你的弟兄卻漸漸貧窮，將自己賣給那外人或寄居的，或外人家族的一支，

「住在你那裏的外人或寄居的，若手頭漸漸寬裕，你的弟兄卻漸漸貧窮，將自己賣給那外人或寄居的，或外人家族的一支，

「如果你們中間的外族人漸漸富裕，你們同胞中卻有人日益貧窮，把自己賣給外族人或他們的族人，

“在你中間寄居的外人或是客旅若是富足起來，你的兄弟在他那裡卻漸漸窮乏，把自己賣給住在你那裡寄居的外人或客旅的家族，

『在你們中間寄居寄住的外僑若手頭富足起來，而你的族弟兄在他那裏又貧乏起來、竟將自己賣給在你們中間寄居寄住的外僑、或是寄居者家族的苗緒，

如爾中賓旅有豐裕者、爾之同儔窮乏、自鬻於彼、或其戚屬、

如爾中賓旅有富厚者、爾族窮乏、自鬻於彼、或其子孫、

若居爾中外邦之客旅致富、爾族中人貧乏、鬻己於居爾間之外邦客旅、或鬻於生在爾國客旅之宗族、

“‘ If a foreigner residing among you becomes rich and any of your fellow Israelites become poor and sell themselves to the foreigner or to a member of the foreigner’s clan,

“‘ Suppose an outsider living among you for a while becomes rich. Then suppose any of your own people become poor. Then they sell themselves to the outsider living among you. Or they sell themselves to a member of the outsider’s family.

“ If a stranger or sojourner with you becomes rich, and your brother beside him becomes poor and sells himself to the stranger or sojourner with you or to a member of the stranger’s clan,

“ Suppose a foreigner or temporary resident becomes rich while living among you. If any of your fellow Israelites fall into poverty and are forced to sell themselves to such a foreigner or to a member of his family,

‘ Now if the means of a stranger or of a foreign resident with you becomes sufficient, and a countryman of yours becomes poor in relation to him and sells himself to a stranger who is residing with you, or to the descendants of a stranger’s family,

‘ Now if a sojourner or stranger close to you becomes rich, and one of your brethren who dwells by him becomes poor, and sells himself to the stranger or sojourner close to you, or to a member of the stranger’s family,

And if a stranger or sojourner with thee be waxed rich, and thy brother be waxed poor beside him, and sell himself unto the stranger or sojourner with thee, or to the stock of the stranger’s family;

“ If a foreigner or temporary resident living among you prospers, but your brother living near him becomes destitute and sells himself to the foreigner living among you, or to a member of the foreigner’s clan,

And if a sojourner or stranger wax rich by thee, and thy brother[ that dwelleth] by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger[ or] sojourner by thee, or to the stock of the stranger’s family:

“‘ If a resident foreigner who is with you prospers and your brother becomes impoverished with regard to him so that he sells himself to a resident foreigner who is with you or to a member of a foreigner’s family,

“‘ If an alien or temporary resident with you becomes rich, and your brother beside him has grown poor, and sells himself to the stranger or foreigner living among you, or to a member of the stranger’s family,

Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Didn’t God choose the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that he has promised to those who love him?

If a man has no family redeemer, but he prospers and obtains enough to redeem his land,

The LORD brings poverty and gives wealth; he humbles and he exalts.He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the trash heap. He seats them with noblemen and gives them a throne of honor. For the foundations of the earth are the LORD’s; he has set the world on them.
