如果你的兄弟貧窮，賣了部分地業，他的至親可以來，把兄弟所賣的贖回。

你的弟兄若渐渐穷乏，卖了几分地业，他至近的亲属就要来把弟兄所卖的赎回。

“你的弟兄若渐渐贫穷，卖了他的一些产业，他的至亲就要来把弟兄所卖的赎回。

“你的弟兄若渐渐贫穷，卖了他的一些产业，他的至亲就要来把弟兄所卖的赎回。

如果有人因贫穷而卖掉土地，他的近亲要把卖掉的土地赎回来。

如果你的兄弟贫穷，卖了部分地业，他的至亲可以来，把兄弟所卖的赎回。

若爾同族人、同族人原文作兄弟下同因貧乏而鬻其業、有本族人來代贖、則任其贖本族人所鬻者、

“‘ If one of your fellow Israelites becomes poor and sells some of their property, their nearest relative is to come and redeem what they have sold.

“‘ Suppose one of your own people becomes poor. And suppose they have to sell some of their land. Then their nearest relative must come and buy back what they have sold.

“ If your brother becomes poor and sells part of his property, then his nearest redeemer shall come and redeem what his brother has sold.

If one of your fellow Israelites falls into poverty and is forced to sell some family land, then a close relative should buy it back for him.

If your brother becomes destitute and sells part of his property, his nearest relative may come and redeem what his brother has sold.

‘ If a fellow countryman of yours becomes so poor that he sells part of his property, then his closest redeemer is to come and buy back what his relative has sold.

‘ If one of your brethren becomes poor, and has sold some of his possession, and if his redeeming relative comes to redeem it, then he may redeem what his brother sold.

If thy brother be waxed poor, and sell some of his possession, then shall his kinsman that is next unto him come, and shall redeem that which his brother hath sold.

拿俄米對媳婦說：“願不斷施慈愛給活人和死人的耶和華賜福給他。”拿俄米又對她說：“這個人是我們的親人，有買贖權的一位近親。”

‘看哪！你叔叔沙龍的兒子哈拿篾必來見你，說：請你買下我在亞拿突的那塊田地，因為你有近親的權利和義務去買那田地。’我叔叔的兒子哈拿篾果然照著耶和華的話，到衛兵的院子裡來見我，對我說：‘請你買下我在便雅憫境內亞拿突的那塊田地，因為你有那產業的繼承權，以及近親的權利和義務；請你把它買下吧。’於是我知道這是耶和華的話。

不錯，我是你那有買贖權的近親，可惜還有一個有買贖權的近親比我更親。

就說：“你是誰？”她回答：“我是你的婢女路得，請用你的衣襟遮蓋你的婢女，因為你是我一個有買贖權的近親。”

我想把這一件事告訴你，請你在眾民的長老，還有在座的各位面前，把它買下來吧。如果你肯贖就贖，假如不肯，就說出來，讓我知道；因為除了你當贖它之外，我是第一候補。”那人說：“我肯贖。”波阿斯說：“你從拿俄米手中買下那塊地的時候，你也得娶（“娶”原文作“買”）已死的人的妻子摩押女子路得，使已死的人的名字留在他的產業上。”那有買贖權的近親說：“那我就不能贖它了，只怕損害了我的產業。你可以贖我當贖的，因為我沒有辦法贖了。”

你常常和他的女傭人在一起的波阿斯不是我們的親戚嗎？他今天晚上要在禾場上簸大麥。

你們是知道我們的主耶穌基督的恩典的：他本來富足，卻為你們成了貧窮，要使你們因他的貧窮成為富足。

他們唱著新歌，說：“你配取書卷，配拆開封印，因為你曾被殺，曾用你的血，從各支派、各方言、各民族、各邦國，把人買了來歸給神，

又說：“我要信靠他。”又說：“看哪，我和神所賜給我的孩子們。”孩子們既然同有血肉之體，他自己也照樣成為血肉之體，為要藉著死，消滅那掌握死權的魔鬼，
