“‘ Follow my decrees and be careful to obey my laws, and you will live safely in the land.

“‘ Follow my rules. Be careful to obey my laws. Then you will live safely in the land.

“ If you want to live securely in the land, follow my decrees and obey my regulations.

“ You are to keep my statutes and ordinances and carefully observe them, so that you may live securely in the land.

‘ You shall therefore follow My statutes and keep My judgments so as to carry them out, so that you may live securely on the land.

‘ so you shall observe My statutes and keep My judgments, and perform them; and you will dwell in the land in safety.

Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep mine ordinances and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

“ You are to keep My statutes and ordinances and carefully observe them, so that you may live securely in the land.

You must obey my statutes and my regulations; you must be sure to keep them so that you may live securely in the land.

But when you go over the Jordan and live in the land that the Lord your God is giving you to inherit, and when he gives you rest from all your enemies around, so that you live in safety,

In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. And this is the name by which he will be called:‘ The Lord is our righteousness.’

but whoever listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of disaster.”

“ Son of man, the inhabitants of these waste places in the land of Israel keep saying,‘ Abraham was only one man, yet he got possession of the land; but we are many; the land is surely given us to possess.’Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: You eat flesh with the blood and lift up your eyes to your idols and shed blood; shall you then possess the land?You rely on the sword, you commit abominations, and each of you defiles his neighbor’s wife; shall you then possess the land?

In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell securely. And this is the name by which it will be called:‘ The Lord is our righteousness.’

Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place.Do not trust in these deceptive words:‘ This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord.’“ For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly execute justice one with another,if you do not oppress the sojourner, the fatherless, or the widow, or shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not go after other gods to your own harm,then I will let you dwell in this place, in the land that I gave of old to your fathers forever.

Of Benjamin he said,“ The beloved of the Lord dwells in safety. The High God surrounds him all day long, and dwells between his shoulders.”

“ And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God.Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field.Blessed shall be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock.Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.“ The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.The Lord will command the blessing on you in your barns and in all that you undertake. And he will bless you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.The Lord will establish you as a people holy to himself, as he has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in his ways.And all the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you.And the Lord will make you abound in prosperity, in the fruit of your womb and in the fruit of your livestock and in the fruit of your ground, within the land that the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.The Lord will open to you his good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands. And you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you shall only go up and not down, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, being careful to do them,and if you do not turn aside from any of the words that I command you today, to the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

So Israel lived in safety, Jacob lived alone, in a land of grain and wine, whose heavens drop down dew.

Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I have made the land a desolation and a waste because of all their abominations that they have committed.

saying,‘ Turn now, every one of you, from his evil way and evil deeds, and dwell upon the land that the Lord has given to you and your fathers from of old and forever.

And you shall observe all my statutes and all my rules, and do them: I am the Lord.”

to those who keep his covenant and remember to do his commandments.

“ I will make with them a covenant of peace and banish wild beasts from the land, so that they may dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.And I will make them and the places all around my hill a blessing, and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing.And the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be secure in their land. And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke, and deliver them from the hand of those who enslaved them.They shall no more be a prey to the nations, nor shall the beasts of the land devour them. They shall dwell securely, and none shall make them afraid.

I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land.I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you.And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.

“ If you walk in my statutes and observe my commandments and do them,then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.Your threshing shall last to the time of the grape harvest, and the grape harvest shall last to the time for sowing. And you shall eat your bread to the full and dwell in your land securely.I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid. And I will remove harmful beasts from the land, and the sword shall not go through your land.You shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase ten thousand, and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.I will turn to you and make you fruitful and multiply you and will confirm my covenant with you.You shall eat old store long kept, and you shall clear out the old to make way for the new.I will make my dwelling among you, and my soul shall not abhor you.And I will walk among you and will be your God, and you shall be my people.
