This bread is to be set out before the Lord regularly, Sabbath after Sabbath, on behalf of the Israelites, as a lasting covenant.

The bread must be set out in front of the Lord regularly. Do it every Sabbath day. It will be Israel’s duty to provide it for all time to come.

Every Sabbath day Aaron shall arrange it before the Lord regularly; it is from the people of Israel as a covenant forever.

耶穌對他們說：“大衛和跟他在一起的人，在飢餓的時候所作的，你們沒有念過嗎？他不是進了神的殿，吃了他和跟他在一起的人不可以吃，只有祭司才可以吃的陳設餅嗎？律法書上記著：安息日，祭司在殿裡供職，觸犯了安息日，也不算有罪；你們也沒有念過嗎？

用來做陳設餅，常獻的素祭，常獻的燔祭，安息日、初一、定時的節期所獻的祭；又為了做各樣的聖物和為以色列人贖罪的贖罪祭，以及我們神殿裡一切工作的費用。
