俾明厥目、轉暗為光、離撒但勢、歸於上帝、使眾信我、可得罪赦、同獲聖徒之業、

宣告以色列族、取橄欖擣油、惟潔是務、使燈常燃。會幕中、法匱前之簾外、亞倫與其子、自夕達旦、必燃明燈於我耶和華前、為以色列族歷代之永例。

南向置燈臺、與几相對、

爾素昏昏、今宗主而昭昭、宜效昭昭之人、聖神之結實、仁與義與誠、以明主所悅、闇昧之行無益、爾不可與、當責之、彼之隱行、言之辱也、事有可責者、光燭之之故、以燭之者光也、經云、寢宜寤、死當起、基督賜爾光、

是父母之命、照爾若輝光之燭、責善之言、導爾入生命之途。

毋間隙、毋駁雜、猶上帝子、處橫逆之境、無疵可議、反光燭於世、爾發明生命之道、迨基督臨日、我行事服勞、不虛為可喜、

居幽暗陰翳者光照之、導我履平康之道矣、○

兼金之燈臺、與其盞、器與油悉備、

當察作證之言、必稽出命之書、否則不睹旭日之光。

真光者、臨世照萬人者也、

昔上帝命光照暗、今照吾心、使知上帝榮、在耶穌基督而顯、

求吾主耶穌基督之上帝、即榮耀之父、賜爾以智慧、默示之神、使爾識主、心目克明、知其召爾所望之福何如、聖徒之業、其富有何如、

耶穌語眾曰、我乃世之光、從我者不行於暗、得生之光、

天國可比處女十人、執燈出迎新娶者、其中五智、五愚、愚者執燈而油不備、智者執燈、器且備油、新娶者稽遲、皆假寐而寢、中夜呼云、新娶者至矣、出迎之、眾處女遂起、重整其燈、愚者謂智者曰、以爾油分我、我燈垂燼、

上帝之燈未滅、撒母耳已卧、時耶和華召撒母耳。撒母耳曰、我在此。

爾道若燈、光燭我徑兮、

束爾帶、燃爾燈、

每值朝夕獻燔、及芬芳之品、陳設之餅、置諸潔几、有金燈臺、竟夕常明、以役事我上帝耶和華、永不遺棄、

告亞倫云、燃燈之時、宜使七盞明耀於前。亞倫遵耶和華所諭摩西之言而行、燃燈、明耀於前。燈臺自柱及花、悉用圓輪法、以金為之、乃耶和華所示、摩西已遵其式。○

爾道既至、使愚者明兮、

如是、爾光當照乎人、俾見爾善行、歸榮爾天父焉、○

生在道中、生也者、人之光、

處暗之民、已見大光、居死地陰翳者、有光射之、○

耶和華之神賦之、使有智慧、使有謀力、知耶和華之道而寅畏之、

約翰乃燃明之燈、爾暫喜其光、○
