Whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him. The sojourner as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.

anyone who blasphemes the name of the Lord is to be put to death. The entire assembly must stone them. Whether foreigner or native- born, when they blaspheme the Name they are to be put to death.

Anyone who speaks evil things against my Name must be put to death. The whole community must kill them by throwing stones at them. It does not matter whether they are an outsider or an Israelite. When they speak evil things against my Name, they must be put to death.

Anyone who blasphemes the Name of the Lord must be stoned to death by the whole community of Israel. Any native born Israelite or foreigner among you who blasphemes the Name of the Lord must be put to death.

Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

The Jews answered him,“ It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God.”Jesus answered them,“ Is it not written in your Law,‘ I said, you are gods’?If he called them gods to whom the word of God came— and Scripture cannot be broken—do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world,‘ You are blaspheming,’ because I said,‘ I am the Son of God’?

They speak against you with malicious intent; your enemies take your name in vain.

Are they not the ones who blaspheme the honorable name by which you were called?

And I punished them often in all the synagogues and tried to make them blaspheme, and in raging fury against them I persecuted them even to foreign cities.

though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief,

What is your judgment?” They answered,“ He deserves death.”

Remember this, O Lord, how the enemy scoffs, and a foolish people reviles your name.

“ You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.

How long, O God, is the foe to scoff? Is the enemy to revile your name forever?

Jesus said to them,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.”So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.

“ Truly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the children of man, and whatever blasphemies they utter,but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”—

And set two worthless men opposite him, and let them bring a charge against him, saying,‘ You have cursed God and the king.’ Then take him out and stone him to death.”And the men of his city, the elders and the leaders who lived in his city, did as Jezebel had sent word to them. As it was written in the letters that she had sent to them,they proclaimed a fast and set Naboth at the head of the people.And the two worthless men came in and sat opposite him. And the worthless men brought a charge against Naboth in the presence of the people, saying,“ Naboth cursed God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.
