Live in temporary shelters for seven days: All native- born Israelites are to live in such shelters

Live in booths for seven days. All the Israelites must live in booths.

You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All native Israelites shall dwell in booths,

For seven days you must live outside in little shelters. All native born Israelites must live in shelters.

You are to live in shelters for seven days. All the native-born of Israel must live in shelters,

You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All who are native Israelites shall dwell in booths,

And they found written in the Law how the Lord had commanded through Moses that the sons of Israel were to live in booths during the feast of the seventh month.And that they were to proclaim and circulate a proclamation in all their cities and in Jerusalem, saying,“ Go out to the hills, and bring olive branches and wild olive branches, myrtle branches, palm branches, and branches of other trees with thick branches, to make booths, as it is written.”So the people went out and brought them and made booths for themselves, each on his roof, and in their courtyards and in the courtyards of the house of God, and in the public square at the Water Gate, and in the square at the Gate of Ephraim.The entire assembly of those who had returned from the captivity made booths and lived in the booths. Indeed, the sons of Israel had not done so since the days of Joshua the son of Nun to that day. And there was very great rejoicing.

All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen and welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own.And indeed if they had been thinking of that country which they left, they would have had opportunity to return.But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them.

And Balaam raised his eyes and saw Israel camping tribe by tribe; and the Spirit of God came upon him.

But we have lived only in tents, and have obeyed and have done according to all that our father Jonadab commanded us.

How pleasant are your tents, Jacob, Your dwelling places, Israel!

But Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built for himself a house and made booths for his livestock; therefore the place is named Succoth.

For we know that if our earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made by hands, eternal in the heavens.
