On the first day you are to take branches from luxuriant trees— from palms, willows and other leafy trees— and rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.

On the first day you must get branches from palms, willows and other leafy trees. You must be filled with joy in front of the Lord your God for seven days.

And you shall take on the first day the fruit of splendid trees, branches of palm trees and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days.

On the first day gather branches from magnificent trees— palm fronds, boughs from leafy trees, and willows that grow by the streams. Then celebrate with joy before the Lord your God for seven days.

On the first day you are to take the product of majestic trees— palm fronds, boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook— and rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days.

你们要靠主常常喜乐。我再说，你们要喜乐。

他们发现律法书上写着，耶和华藉摩西吩咐以色列人要在七月的节期中住在棚里，并要在各城和耶路撒冷传扬宣告说：“你们当出去，上山，把橄榄树、野橄榄树、番石榴树、棕树和各样茂密树的枝子取来，照着所写的搭棚。”于是百姓出去，取了树枝来，各人在自己的房顶上、院子里、上帝殿的院内、水门的广场和以法莲门的广场搭棚。从被掳之地归回的全会众就搭棚，住在棚里。从嫩的儿子约书亚的时候直到这日，以色列人没有这样行。他们都大大喜乐。

就拿着棕树枝出去迎接他，喊着：“和散那，以色列的王！奉主名来的是应当称颂的！”

你们现在也是忧愁，但我要再见到你们，你们的心就会有喜乐了；这喜乐没有人能夺去。

耶和华救赎的民必归回，歌唱来到锡安；永远的快乐必归到他们头上，他们必得着欢喜快乐，忧伤叹息尽都逃避。

虽然你们没有见过他，却是爱他；如今虽看不见，你们却因信他而有说不出来、满有荣光的喜乐，

“你们所有爱慕耶路撒冷的啊，要与她一同欢喜，为她高兴；你们所有为她悲哀的啊，都要与她一同乐上加乐；

此后，我观看，看见有许多人，没有人能计算，是从各邦国、各支派、各民族、各语言来的，站在宝座和羔羊面前，身穿白衣，手拿棕树枝，

不但如此，我们既藉着我们的主耶稣基督得以与上帝和好，也就藉着他以上帝为乐。

因为真受割礼的，就是我们这藉着上帝的灵敬拜、以基督耶稣为夸耀、不依靠肉体的。

许许多多的人把自己的衣服铺在路上，还有人砍下树枝来铺在路上。

义人要兴旺如棕树，生长如黎巴嫩的香柏树。
