頭一天你們要拿美麗之樹的果子、和棕樹枝、茂密樹的枝條跟谿谷間的楊柳條，在永恆主你們的上帝面前歡樂七天。

On the first day you are to take branches from luxuriant trees— from palms, willows and other leafy trees— and rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.

On the first day you must get branches from palms, willows and other leafy trees. You must be filled with joy in front of the Lord your God for seven days.

And you shall take on the first day the fruit of splendid trees, branches of palm trees and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days.

On the first day gather branches from magnificent trees— palm fronds, boughs from leafy trees, and willows that grow by the streams. Then celebrate with joy before the Lord your God for seven days.

On the first day you are to take the product of majestic trees— palm fronds, boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook— and rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days.

過節的時候、你要歡樂，你跟你兒子和女兒、你的奴僕和使女、以及在你城內的利未人、寄居者、孤兒、寡婦、都要歡樂。你要在永恆主所要選擇的地方、過節拜永恆主你的上帝；因為永恆主你的上帝在你一切的出產上、和你手裏辦的一切事上、必賜福與你，你就要痛痛快快地歡樂。

願你們時常在主裏喜樂！我再說，願你們喜樂。

他們見律法上寫着；就是永恆主由摩西經手所吩咐，叫以色列人要在七月節上住在樹枝棚裏；叫他們要在各城市和耶路撒冷宣告，將布告傳播出去，說：『你們要出去到山上，將橄欖樹的枝葉、多脂柏樹的枝葉、桃金孃樹的枝葉、棕樹的枝葉、和茂密樹的枝葉取來，照經上所寫的來搭樹枝棚子。』於是人民出去取來，各人在自己的房頂上搭了樹枝棚子，或是在自己的院子裏，或是在上帝的院中，或是在水門廣場上，或是以法蓮門廣場上。從被擄中返回的全體大眾、就搭了樹枝棚子，住在樹枝棚子裏；從嫩的兒子耶書亞的日子、直到今日、以色列人都沒有這樣行過的；眾人都大大歡喜，非常快樂。

就拿着棕樹枝、出去迎接他，嚷着說：『獻頌讚哦！奉主名來的以色列王、是當受祝頌的！

那麼你們現今呢、也有憂愁；但我要再見你們，你們的心就歡喜了；並且你們的喜樂、誰也不能奪去。

蒙永恆主贖救的人必返回，必歡呼來到錫安；永遠的喜樂必歸到他們頭上；歡躍喜樂、他們必得到，憂愁歎息盡都逃走。

你們沒有見過他，卻愛他；現在雖不得看見，卻信靠他而歡樂，有說不出、滿有榮耀的喜樂，

『一切愛慕耶路撒冷的人哪，你們都要跟耶路撒冷一同歡喜，都要因她而快樂哦！一切為她哀悼的人哪，你們都要跟她一同喜悅高興哦！

這些事以後我觀看，見有一大羣人，沒有人能數過來：從各邦國各族派各民族各種語言的人中間出來的；站在寶座和羔羊面前；披着白袍，手裏拿着棕樹枝。

不但如此，我們竟能藉着我們的主耶穌拿上帝而歡喜誇勝呢；因為藉着他、我們如今已經領受了復和了。

真的受割禮呢、我們才是，我們這以靈來事奉，拿基督耶穌來誇口、不倚靠肉體的人。

大多數的羣眾都把自己的衣裳舖在路上；另有人從樹上砍下枝子，鋪在路上。

義人發旺如棕樹，長高如利巴嫩的香柏樹。
